Solitaire Mystery: Stolen Power - Russian journal fix

By default, the game's journal is displayed in Russian because of an oversight in one of the config files. This guide will tell you how to change it to English to match the rest of the game.

Changing the journal's language

By default, the game's journal is displayed in Russian (with the exception of a few English images, pictured below), while the rest of the game is in English.

To change the journal's language, find the game's installation folder (x:\...\steam\steamapps\common\solitiare mystery stolen power\) and open the file called cfg.xml.

Find this line:

<Journal xml="levels/journal.xml" story="lockit/ru/languages/journal.txt" help="lockit/ru/languages/journal_hlp.txt" styles="lockit/ru/languages/journal_defs.xml" />

And change it to this ('ru' to 'en' in 3 places)

<Journal xml="levels/journal.xml" story="lockit/en/languages/journal.txt" help="lockit/en/languages/journal_hlp.txt" styles="lockit/en/languages/journal_defs.xml" />

Enjoy the journal in English!
