By Flightless Lizard
Have you ever wanted to hook up 6 spots to one teleporter with a fancy-looking contraption? I'm here to show you how.

You will need:
6 AND logic gates
12 logic lamps (preferably on)
1 teleporter
~250 wire
7 switches
6 lights
4 kinds of wire
Setting Up the Teleporter
Step 1:
Place the logic gates 1 block apart, with 2 logic lamps above each one. Put blocks down above the lamps to make a platform. Place switches just above each logic gate on the top platform, and place a light above the switches. Above the lights, to either the right or left, place down a teleporter. Then place a switch next to the teleporter.
Step 2:
Wire each switch to their respective top logic lamps, and to their lights. Connect the teleporter main switch to the bottom logic lamps with a different color. (The color you connect to the bottom lamps cannot be used for the 6 locations, unless you are adding a 7th, which is possible with proper placement.)
Step 3:
Use the remaining 3 colors to attach the logic gates to the teleporter, using each of the 3 for each end of the teleporter. Attach each color to 2 logic gates on opposite sides. Make sure wires of similar color do not come into contact.
Finishing the Teleporter
Now all that's left is to apply locations to the switches. Simply take a color corresponding to a gate and make a wire going off of the gate wires to another teleporter. You should be able to do this without issue as long as the wires don't overlap. Only one light can be on at a time (or off if you didn't invert your lights).

Congratulations! Now you can impress all your friends with your complex-looking teleporter system. I hope this guide was helpful. Thank you for reading.
Disclaimer
It has come to my attention that some people assume that this device is supposed to work in both directions, and automatically reset. In order to prevent further confusion, I would like to explain the details of its functionality.

Only works in one direction from the central teleport, in order to teleport back, you need to use a magic mirror. (I intended this device to be used as transportation, preferably placed within or near your base. Apperently some people don't think the same way)

The lever near the teleporter is the switch used to activate the teleporter. The lined-up switches are for selection ONLY. In addition, when you want to select a different location, you must deactivate the previously activated switch and activate a new one for a new location.

While I had hoped no assumptions would be made as to the degree of the functionality of this system, it has been brought to my attention that some people assume the system has more automation involved than was actually present.

Thank you for reading.

Side note: I never compared your hours to mine. I said your playtime hadn't changed from your other comment. YOU decided to compare hours. YOU compared hours so you could think that I'M the noob.

What do you mean by "one teleporter back" and "new pads?" I just wanted to make a way to quickly go from the spawn room to locations through a little select screen-esque room. Perhaps you've misinterpreted the purpose of this design. It's not automatic, if that's what you were thinking.

I just don't understand how you don't see that the yellow switch is just the activation switch. I have never seen an instance where a teleporter has to have an "on" signal just to function. I have always observed the teleporter working whenever there is a change in signal. Why would the activation switch need to deactivate itself?

As I said before, I CAN SHOW YOU THAT IT WORKS . I have used this system in my main world since I beat the mech bosses, and not once has it failed. Please, let me show you it works. I have as concrete of evidence as is possible that it works, just let me show it to you.

@The Z Dude So you are now comparing hours trying assume a way of thinking i'm the noob huh? The fact you can't read the bold letters saying this is one of my mini accounts on my profile concerns me. Here is my alt (4,200 hours): http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/profiles/76561198296842857/

The main issue with this design is that you don't understand how gates work. Sure it may work from one teleporter back, but once you start switching from new pads it will stop working because the yellow wire acts like a switch turning other gates off/on. You also don't have a auto shutoff flip-flop to disable all the previous gates. Sooner or later the system will fail.

I recommend closing the post until you edit it with a fix before wasting everyone's time.

I checked your hour count. Didn't change one bit from when you last posted. Even then, I can broadcast it and show you live that this design works. I can understand that this design isn't exactly straightforward, and it took even me a couple of tries to get it right and I invented the damn thing. Let me show you that it works.

@The Z Dude Just for the hell of it I made your design. Does not work. Asked my friend to try and he also said it's not possible to use logic gates with teleporters.

From what I see this guide is misleading.

Just to make sure that it wasn't changed, I decided to test out the system I have in my world, using logic gates. It works just fine. I'm not modded, by the way. I don't understand how you haven't been able to make teleporters work with logic gates, to be honest. It just works, no complications or anything.
Why Try? 3 May, 2018 @ 12:54pm
@The Z Dude Are you modded? Gates DO NOT work with teleporters. I have tested this.

It's also oblivious you don't know how the gates them self's work. The top switch does not do anything. And the teleporter switches don't do anything because and AND gate requires all signals to be ON.

To be honest gates do not look aesthetically pleasing but rather something you try to hide bellow the rig. If you want to look like a nerd that's a different subject.

If anything the proper way todo it looks more "aesthetically pleasing":

Excuse me? I have this working in my world. I use it all the time. The teleport works on every switch of the gate status, even though it wouldn't seem to work. The teleport DOES work with the gates, because they're powering the teleporter and a second teleporter. The switch just activates each gate at once, so that the turned on switch will be the only one to activate. I am aware that logic gates are not required for 6 locations, but I wanted to make a more aesthetically pleasing system, and I decided to show people how.
