How To Prank Your Enemies Melee Style.
By 𝓟𝓾𝓷𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓓𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓸𝔂𝓮𝓻 and 1 collaborators
In this guide i will be teaching you how to completely annoy your opponents with just your melee weapons and throwing knifes.
I would recommend using this class in Search & Destroy.

Weapons and Perks:
- Division: Airborne (Preferably at level 4 because of the bonus sprint speed and stamina, otherwise just use w/e)
- Primary: I strongly recommend using a submachine gun or shotgun because of the mobility but it really doesn't matter too much since we'll be using the melee weapons most of the time.
- Basic Training: Inconspicuous, grants you quieter movement and faster movement whilst crouched. (You unlock this BT after you've prestiged mountain division for the first time)
- Secondary: A melee weapon of your choice (Shovel, pickaxe or trench knife)
- Lethal: Throwing knife or bouncing betty

Techniques:
- As soon as the round starts combine dolphin dive and sprint to get to one of the meetup points as fast as possible. (You save stamina if you combine them because dolphin dive does not drain your stamina which means you get to sprint longer distances faster)
- You require patience and an okay-ish headset. The reason for the headset is because you need to listen for enemy movement and other sounds such as footsteps, gun sounds etc. You need to be able to determine from what direction your enemies will be coming from so that you can take them by surprise.

The mid house on Sainte Marie Du Monte is a good place to rush to for example, you can stand next to the doors and wait for the enemy to come to you instead of rushing towards them, sneaking is key when playing cqc style.

Another great map for this playstyle would be USS Texas because you have the entire lower deck/bridges to your advantage and both bombs are very close to middle lower/upper deck.

Another great map would be Pointe Du Hoc. And i don't have to tell you anything other than it is a close quarter map. Basicly every map with cqc is great for melee.

And lastly, you need to have some sense of prediction if you want to survive long enough. Try to see things from your enemys perspective, what would you do in their shoes in that particular scenario etc. Predict where they will be coming from and keep those ears open for footsteps and other potential sounds your enemies might make.

In cod ww2 Speed depends on what is being held in your characters hands and not what your primary weapon is. I know alot of people dont know because it was different in other cods but it has been changed for cod ww2.

dont teach noobs to melee shotguns and snipers are already broken as is.
Couldn't agree more Miilzy and thanks, i honestly did not know about the lunge distance, i thought they were all the same. To always be 2 steps ahead is the way to success with the melee weapons.:steammocking:

good little guide, although i wouldnt recommend the pickaxe due to the poor melee lunge distance (being none!) always keep thinking 2 steps ahead and you'll come out on top with the knives.
