Update: AoCF now has official English localization.

Edit: So apparently 15.5 has absolutely no DRM. This means you won't actually show up playing the game on Steam, even if you run the original exe (from the folder directly, not through Steam).

Please don't confuse using the Steamworks API with DRM.
Developers can use it AND make their games able to work without Steam.
They're just lazy or incompetent or don't want it to work.

The first Touhou fighter on Steam! Tasofro is going to add an official English translation, but in the meantime, we can use the fan translation provided by THCRAP.
Downloading THCRAP
Touhou Community Reliant Automatic Patcher (THCRAP) can be downloaded here.[www.thpatch.net]
Either one works.
The site has instructions on how to actually use the patcher, but since we just want to patch the Steam version of TH15.5, and for this guide's sake, we'll be using my way.

Extract the contents to where you like. The directory doesn't matter.
Begone, Moon Runes!
Right, let's get into it.
Below is a list of all the things you need to do to have your game running in English (or why not your native language).
  1. Run thcrap_configure.exe.

  2. If you want something else than English you should choose it now. Scroll up a bit to see all the available language packs.
  3. After choosing the language you want and pressing ENTER, you can now choose a secondary language. If you previously chose something else than English, now is a good time to choose it.

  4. You will now be asked for a custom name for the configuration. I always leave it blank for default.
  5. In the browsing dialog, select the path where your Steam version of Antinomy of Common Flowers is installed. For example, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\th155".
  6. The game is now being patched, please wait warmly.
  7. You should now have some shortcuts in your THCRAP folder. You can run these from wherever you want. I personally put them into the Steam directory because why not.
Now what?
Whenever you want to run the game in English through Steam, make sure Steam is open. Just start the th155 (en) shortcut, and voilà!

Al iniciarlo me sale "Hoke Windows error 0x00000000762068d"
y se cierra automaticamente. no encontre informacion al respecto.
si alguien sabe como solucionarlo, que me agregue a amigos y me explique por favor.

Boat Wizard , there must a special shortcut named like "th155 (en)" in the same folder where THCRAP is. To play patched version you must launch it.
Irghen , there is no way to change languages in game. There must be different shortcuts for different language patchs.
