[1] Game Start
You first car will be altezza, and this car will not drift.

Shop upgrades:

There is 4 grades of parts

1 players level will allow you get parts of 1 lvl.
8 players level - 2 grade
15 players level - 3 grade
Also 12 players level will allow you to open market for 10 greens.
Market is important to sell\buy tickets\cars etc.

4 grade of parts can be crafted, and one ticker engine parts cost about 7 mil, you don't need it.

To drift you need get lvl 15 to unlock lock kit
Lock kit will allow you to drift without overturn

Level up from 1 to 15 just a pain.
How make it easy:

1. Use sport tires in front and rear.
2. Install "Springs" to get Camber on wheels (SHOP > Platform > Springs)

Now all your wheels have negative camber and with sport tires on front\rear wheels you can play rivals and week events to rise your skill, got exp and rupees.

[2] Local, Rivals, Week events.
1.Locals

You will have 22 local races each day, after you will spent 22 races, it will be available on next day, or 3 green.
You just race with players "ghosts" and you will get low rupees. Fast, now car wearout, booring.

2.Rivals

You will play with other players, but problems is you can go for a race with your stock altezza against one of full tunned and boosted car that will win in 1000%
NEVER LEAVE RIVALS, if you win or lose, anyway you will get exp, rupees and lucky cards in the end of rival.

From lucky tickets you are randomly can get:
Greens 1, 3 or 5
Rupees 1k, 3k, 5k, 20k
Tickets White, Yellow, Red (They needed to craft powerfull engines)
Other stuff like tires of gas.

3. Week events
7 days, each days one of two tracks - sun valley or vegas. Player who will get more points for all week will win, also there is prices from 1 to 10 positions.

In week event day separated each 8 hours each for 10 tryes. So you have 30 tryes each day on one map, and you can practise a lot to get more scores each week event that will rise your skill a lot.

[3] Engine Build
When you add new parts that rise HP, this part also will rise engine wearout, keep engine weraout less than 5.

Best engine for begin is 2JZ, but it has parts that will be allowed after lvl 15.
[4] Best Engines for certain cars
★ Sky / RB26DTT 2.6L

Do not fully max this as you may experience high wear-out

★ X8 / 13B-REW 1.3L

You should be fine maxing but it can cost alot and may not be worth this goes down to preference

★ X7 / 13B-REW 1.3L

You should be fine maxing but it can cost alot and may not be worth this goes down to preference

I recommend maxing this to over at least 900hp or even 933hp

Keep stock tho it may have high wear out

★ SC300 / 2jz

★ TEZZA / 3sge / RB26DTT 2.6L

3sge id recommend low hp so less wear out because if you max it wear out will be crazy and same goes with RB

[5] How to START
We all started with the Altezza what i would recommend doing is when starting the tutorial / first time drift session close out of the game alt f4 because it will make you buy this thing that cost around 50k but if you close out of the game you can save the money and either upgrade the Altezza or buy the 180Sx that cost Approximately 73k from the shop i would definitely buy the 180Sx as it is more simple and easier to build on / drift and learn but if you choose to use the Altezza just remember there will be learning barriers to over come with it as it can be a jolty / tricky car to master

What do i do when i have chosen my starter car ?

Go and head play - then click on rivals - then click on find rival and sit back and wait for one to come

If you choose to use the Altezza as your starter the main gears you will want to use is 1-2 due it being stock and with stock engine and 209hp so it has alot lower power

So how do i drift the car ?

So this is a question every starter will come to server 1 and say "how do i drift this dang thing" Ect Ect there is not really and answer or proper way it all down to preference i drift completely different to a lot of players i feel i simply push down on gas full rev and ofc get in my comfy gear and let of using my A key and D key BUT i only use them as my controls are set different but most people use the arrows so im sorry im no expert but you will have to figure that one your self and choose your correct settings for the way u play

So once you have hit the grind and is doing your rivals in all honestly if your not up against starters you more than likely going to loose and gain less money but that okay what i would recommend in doing your rivals getting your money and with all the tickets you earn ( lucky cards ) if you get tickets White - Yellow - Red sell them to shop they can sell from anywhere from 10- 17kk im pretty sure or list them up on the market as ticket engine builders are ready to get their hands on them and you can make more money or you could go into doing weekly and beating your scores and making money and greens that way in all honestly the way the game set you need to put in a little to get started unless you play all day so maybe invest in something like 270 greens or i call them "gs" get a nice steady car and get going :)
[6] What To Do Now I Have Some Money / Greens
Okay so you have collected some money ?

So at this point you have either stuck with the Altezza or bought the 180Sx and have been grinding the rivals and weekly or have bought rupees or greens i wouldn't recommend buying rupees as they are over priced what i would do was buy something like 270 "g" also known as greens and buy the sc300 for 150 greens and sell it to shop for 1.6kk also known as 1.6 mill but that is all how you choose to go about it but now you have some money and maybe greens i would go and buy a platform kit and maybe an engine kit but i would recommend building an engine yourself as you have options of many parts - engine wear - hp - torque all kinds but if you do like to go and purchase a kit you must hover over to shop then it will say "tune kits" and there it will have platform and engine and a few others
For the platform kit in either 180Sx or Altezza buy maybe the cheapest one all depending on your balance then you should hopefully see improvement in your drifting also another thing for those who payed for there greens i recommend highly ! buying some garage upgrades what you will want to do is go to tuning then there will be a box top left that says "garage upgrades" click on that
the upgrades i have bought and i would say for other to buy is "Car Jack" this allows faster engine swaps times and lowers tire consumption Now the main things to buy this will cost you greens are the Springs upgrade this allows you to adjust and change ride height damper bump and things like that it can be and seem complicated but you will get the hang of this do keep in mind when you buy this it will cost 79 g to have the upgrade and 60 g to apply to your car which can be a big pain i would buy 'Tire changer" this give you the option to stick out wheels thin tires and much more comes with it it plays a big role in stabilizing your car and making it smoother another one is "GearBoxUp" this allows you change the preferred gear and all kinds of stuff this will cost 80 g to buy the upgrade and 20 g to apply the upgrade to your car of choice the last one is "Lock Kit" this is the main upgrade everyone uses this plays a MASSIVE Role in Drifting the car it has many options and keep in mind they ALL matter when it comes to score drifting here is what it will look like when you have unlocked all these options to your car or if you have not go to - Tuning then click on the dull color ones and it shall give you the option to purchase them with greens
[7] Things to remember
Altezza Body kit Does NOT cost greens

For those who know or dont know on the Altezza to buy body kits such as Project Drift X or AerodynamicX does not cost greens you do have option to purchase with greens but they all can be bought with rupees

[8] Engine building / Ticket Building
Ticket engine building can cost a hell of a lot of money and time meaning non stop rivaling and maybe some investing in greens using the good old credit card

What engines can be built

★13B-REW 1.3L
★3S-GE BEAMS 2.0L
★LFX
★RB26DTT 2.6L
★VQ35DE 3.5L
★SR 20DET 2.0L
★COYOTE V8

How do i build these engines

To be able to Build / Craft the engines you need to either go into the market or grind on rivals and get lucky cards to receive the tickets The tickets range from White-Yellow-Red these all have there own grades Whites can be used to open delivery boxes and get something from any grade but you will usually receive something a lot worse than a higher components so the odds of getting a good parts are lower

How do i get my components

Step 1
Do rivals or any other way to get Either White-Yellow-Red tickets

Step 2
Go and buy a delivery box Garage - Order Delivery
Then chose the part you want to build for example Piston click pistons and say you own 2x Yellow tickets click on yellow then make sure you select 2 boxes

Step 3
Go Garage and then Open Packages chose the package then select the correct ticket so say you chose Yellow graded package chose a Yellow ticket and then click OPEN

You will then receive your component do keep in mind your not going to get the correct component all the time and more than often you will receive dupes DUPES meaning more than 1 of the same item very often

So how do i check how many components i need ?

Step 1
Go to Garage - Workshop you can click on Click on the engine your going to create / craft and choose your part your currently working on and it will say all the missing components needed

How do i Craft my components to receive my part?

Step 1
Go to Go to Garage - Workshop you can click on Click on the engine your going to create / craft and choose your part your currently working on then it will say craft letting you know you will need premium for this and that should cost you around 50-79g once you have unlocked this hit craft and go to to your warehouse and you will see your part to use your part / add it to your engine click / right click and hit use

[9] Full Altezza tune / very good for scores !!
This is by far the best tezza tune for scores TEZZA IS A GOOD CAR

USE RBDET

[10] Skyline Tune
Here is the skyline tune in all honestly im not the greatest drifter and have not done a rival in months but this is a great tune ( for my preference )

ENDING
So thanks who read all at-least scrolled through most of this i have never made a guide video before so i thought why not there is a lot better guides than this one but meh i will carry onto add to this as i go along but yeeeeet

I like helping new people learn and gain money and experience. Name is ip00 in HOD. You can do this! You do not suck! It takes PRACTICE and tunes are NOT cheats, you WILL NOT get the same points as the OP. We have different HP, Torque, weight, parts, even down to reaction time and controls. Find out what works for you i.e. using a keyboard (find the key that you feel comfortable with) controller, (Xbox 260, One, PS4 controllers are known to work) set it up in settings with eatch button. DO NOT QUIT A RIVAL! Cannot stress that enough. Gandelf said this as well, you will get money, you will get XP, and you will get something with the lucky tickets.Tip: wish I invested 10 green early sell things on the market hint hint. Find your line! Watch other people, not just one and study their line on the track. Tweak, test, repeat. Take screenshots F12. Save your tunes that acheive your best score in a different folder (more for unorganized people such as myself :) )

First off, thank you for the crafting guide! Second, interesting tunes. Do you use keyboard? Wheel? Controller? Also, like CFW said, we all have different HP, weight, and other factors that come into play so to people thinking they are going to get super high points, we all drift differently. We all have different reaction times and lines.

Anyways, Gandelf, again, thank you for sharing this info! Interesting. I will start mashing for a tune that works with my skills.
