Happy Waitangi Day! To celebrate, here is the Te Tii Marae as a wonder. Te Tii Marae is a marae located near the town of Waitangi, in the Northland province of New Zealand. It was built to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitingi at a nearby cottage on February 6, 1840, and is the current site of ceremonies on Waitangi Day (February 6) commemorating the treaty attended by various dignitaries and is a hotspot on the day for political activism relating to the treaty and Maori-Pakeha relations. Ingame, Te Tii Marae provides +1 Happiness from Courthouses, and requires Military Science.

Requires the Gods & Kings expansion pack, and credit to co-authors Sukritact for the icon and Chris Sifniotis for the civilopedia.

As a Kiwi living far from home I love these little nods to our history. For the non-NZers here...if you ever get a chance to visit just do it. Friendly people and unspoilt by most of the worlds problems.

I appreciate this patriotic work of modding but I feel like for such an important part of our history that +1 happiness from courthouses is a bit underwhelming, wouldn't you? What if it gave you a free great person of your choosing or a social policy?
