The ladder one is pretty funny.
Hans: "And look at this ladder."
Mom: "Oh, my! Boy… Where have you kept this?"
If you go to the house in the dungeon and catch the butterfly, you can still get the three endings you can get without it. Getting the kobold's trick and pact is unchanged. For happy but poor, just bring the butterfly gem back home to mom. I did this on my first blind run. Your mom gives a special line of dialog when you show it to her.
Come to think of it, I wonder if there's a list of things she will say about the treasures you bring home floating around somewhere.
This would have saved me replaying the entire game again when i learned I needed the crowbar for those endings (i had given cheese to rat, but didn't know I could go to the wall in the day yet).
Also, with the Kings room: You can move the objects in front of the left hand cell and just randomly flip levers (goat will be trapped even if released)
One little thing I'd like to note though: in the chest room, there are actually 3! There is one more at about the 5 o'clock direction from the center of the room. Unfortunately I can't remember exactly what was in it, but I think it was just more Bread.
