Well if you happen to face any of these problem mentioned in the title then m8s/m8ns please follow the instructions carefully mentioned below and yeah keep in mind to make a backup of the game along with its save files first.

Stuck on a level? Weapon equip glitch?

First of all make sure to backup the original save files first which can be located under the following location:

    Once you've done it, start the game through steam but on offline mode just to be sure that it works, if it works you'll see the monitor which shows "Continue" on it its background will be changed with some chains and idk what else lol
    
    Select the chapter from the "Load" section on which you were facing the problem/glitch etc, or just skip it or play it for a bit, save the game, exit steam, now launch the game again through online mode of the steam, again play it a bit, save it, exit it, once done you'll see steam "synchronizing" the new saved file data.
