Because you can never have enough mushrooms! This mod adds 10 new passive mushrooms to the treasure, secret, and boss pools, with a few interesting effects to boot! Also makes fun guy a LOT easier to get!

Odd Mushroom (Bulbous)
Found in the treasure and secret room pools
Increases damage and gives a heart container, but decreases movement speed and shot speed.

Odd Mushroom (Stubby)
Found in the treasure and secret room pools
Increases speed and tear rate, but lowers range

Odd Mushroom (Long)
Found in the treasure and secret room pools
Increases damage, range, and shot speed, but decreases tear rate

Protective Shroom
Found only in the treasure room
Gives a heart container and soul heart, as well as giving the chance to reduce incoming damage by half or completely nullify it

Basidospore
Found only in the treasure room
Tears have a chance to turn into a spore shot, which explodes into a poisonous cloud upon hitting a wall or enemy!

Glowy Mushroom
Found only in the treasure room
Gives the chance to apply a fairly long-lasting burn and concussion effect to enemies hit

I'll miss these mushies. Hoping it may be resurrected with a REP version elsewhere.

would love for this to be rep compatible

Does not work with Repentance, not REP compatible

If anyone is wondering what is causing huge lag and FPS drop specially in repentance when this mod is enabled, It's this mod. I unsubbed from all my mods then the issue still didn't get fixed until I disabled this one. I hoped this helped anyone trying to fix the FPS drop bug:resmile:

@JSJosh Don't be sorry :P This message is just to help people that would try to pin what mod make their Repentence slow ;)

@Ederys Im sorry... and Im sorry to everyone in general. As said, I have completely forgotten how to code Isaac, so I cannot do a whole lot. I have updated the title to show that this is deprecated though.

I confirm this mod slow the game. When I unsubscribed from it, even with almost 200 mods, my game works like a charm. I don't know what the problem is, but it make this mod sadly unplayable.

Kil has consistently updating the API so hopefully it's a lot better than it was before. I would take a look at that instead.

Frankly @S1REN you and me both, this is just kinda how this had to be coded before, its a shame that StatsAPI is laggy because I can't stand how adding stats is always flat, unlike how it works in game. Unless I really missed something and they've changed things? I'm not sure, either way its been years since I've coded for Isaac so I am not really in the position to.
