The filters need an enclosed area because they need to hold in heat (makes them work better).
The setup for me is 2 vents in base, 2 pipes run from base to filter shed, filters inside of shed, storage tanks outside of shed (cooler air is easier to compress), waste vented to outside. This lets you have a full air recycling system and keep the base cooler at the same time while reducing future damage due to heat.
Installed a O2 filter in it.
Connected pipes to the storage tank base thing and screwed down a newly produced tank. Made sure I piped everything correct, and excess gasses went in to space. Used a Active vent, set to outwards and used Oxites.
I hooked up Active Vent and Filtration Unit with power.
During daylight as this was in open space. And let the Oxites melt in my hand.
Still, after 3x50 Oxites I did not get any O2 in the tank.
But when going to bed I was thinking. Do the Gas tank base also need power? I could not find any at the bottom, but maybe it has one on the top I did not see?
I'll guess I find the answer watching YouTube vids. But feel free to comment if you see something I missed ;)
