OBVIOUS BOSS SPOILERS. SERIOUSLY!

Normal players versus Rank and Score freaks.

You know what I'm talking about. Capcom always had nail-on skills at making their games highly replayable (even if technically they didn't make the new DMC). To me and many others, there are two ways of playing a DMC title.

You beat the game, enjoy it and move on. Or you ace everything you can.

Beating a boss without getting hit is easy enough but getting as many bloody points as you can is another story altogether. And it's fun! Bosses always were my number one selling point in pretty much any game, hence my love for Monster Hunter. Nobody understands me and my like for this series.
Anyway, each bosses have their own little ways of granting bonus points. I planned on making a little video for that but it'll have to wait, hence this little post. After playing through the game a few times I managed to conduct a few experiments. Here's what I found so far. (These tricks could have been discovered and published elsewhere but whatever, the rock I live under is amazing).
The Tricks
These are subject to change with time.

-The Hunter is easy enough to ace. Don't focus too much on his face, take time to pull off normal combos on his cute little limbs for an extra two minutes. Stunning him and using angelic weapons is also a good way since you can hit multiple limbs at the same time.

-The Succubus is a tad annoying. She sadly dies too fast BUT I found out that after her third knockout you can focus on her hands instead of finishing her off. It gives you about 15 seconds to beat freely at her, then she revives and you can KO her a fourth time. Damage afterward is ignored.

-Good ol' Bobdross is pretty sweet. When the battle starts you can entirely focus on his pretty face without restriction, as long as you can dodge him. It's pretty easy once you know his color patterns. You can place drives and axe combos between attacks, especially the yellow and blue ones. After some time (4-5 minutes, didn't really count) he will turn blue as if you activated a switch and the battle goes on normally. It becomes impossible to hurt him again in such a way. I personally got more points for not abusing of this too much, the time penalty is too severe past 10 minutes DX

-The Fetus is, well, similar to the hunter. Ignore his eyeballs. (except maybe the second phase, he gets a bit anoying and the blue lighting is unnerving)

-I didn't take a lot of time to experiment with Mundus. To be updated!

-As for Vergil, use his doppelganger as much as you can (It's cool that they added the Doppelganger to him, it's a nice touch). Devil dodge is great at making points too. You can also reflect his spectral blades but only the spinning ones BUT this might be a score drain. Not entirely sure yet, more experimentation in progress.

If you have discovered any super tricks, bosses or not, feel free to share them! I'm interested!
