2017 Steam Winter Sale Cards come with normal and foil variants, just like normal game cards. Foil cards are significantly tougher to get. You need a bit of luck to get them since you cannot obtain these cards like the normal cards.


2017 Steam Winter Sale Cards can be crafted from the week before the sale on 14 December 2017 to the end of the 2017 Steam Winter Sale on 4 January 2018. Sale Cards obtained before the sale start on 21 December 2017 were initially named Mysterious Cards and were converted to Sale Cards on the starting day of the sale. Before the sale starts, you will not be able to craft any badges from them. There is no information about the expiration date of these cards, but almost all Sale Card Sets are set to expire about a month after the end of the sale.


2017 Steam Winter Sale Badge consists of 12 card sets. Normal badges from this set can be used by players with any level, and the foil one is usually capped at 5-15 levels.

If you want to receive free 2017 Steam Winter Sale Cards, you need to have an account that is eligible to receive them. That means that there were at least 5 USD spent on the respective account, and the account has at least x level.


1. From 14 December 2017 to 4 January 2018 for every badge you craft, you will receive one Sale Card in place of the game discount coupon. If you are looking to get some cheap steam card sets, you can get them for CS: GO keys through a trading bot.

2. For every 10 USD spent on 2017 Steam Winter Sale, you will receive one sale card.

3. You can also complete daily tasks. This means that you can get up to X free cards. In this year you can get X cards for exploring your steam store discovery queue and X cards for completing daily steam sale tasks.
