It did help me build up a new merchant captain, so it still has its uses to us newbies.
Care to make some alterative suggestions for a first-time player? Should they try for 10 missions and then get the Galtek. If so, what ship to get in the meantime, and can a merchant character have a chance at 10 mission successes in 2 years? If not, what setup is the fastest way to do 10 missions at normal, so the player can restart using your recommended setup?
You cheeky bugger.
I just rolled up a new map and start as Moklumnue using the seed provided in the guide, and was in Destruente Quarter, so I was unable to replicate your situation. Perhaps you missed a character in the seed?
Please double check your seed information.
You're not missing anything. The game has a supply and demand mechanic. Once you make a sale of a certain size, the market demand drops. And the more you take from a planet's supply, the more expensive the product gets as their supply is low.
