How to opt in to a beta using the Steam game library so you can play previous versions of the game or access beta versions of the game.

Accessing The Properties Menu

Goto your game library by clicking Library > Games

Right click on Jidousha Shakai and select proeprties.

Choosing An Available Beta

A dialog box should pop up and you should see a 'betas' tab. Click this.

Now you can select a version from the dropdown menu of all available branches for you to choose.

Accessing A Hidden Beta

If you have been given a private access code and the beta is not available yet from the drop down you will need to enter the code first.

At the betas window, enter the code into the code box you see. Make sure it is exactly as you are given or it will not work.

Once you've entered it or pasted it into the box, you need to click 'check code'.

If everything worked correctly you should see a success message and the hidden branch should be available in the dropdown menu now.

If this did not work for you...

Check your code to make sure it is exactly as you were provided.
If entering the code was successful but it didn't show up in the menu then you should restart your client and try again.
If your code is denied but is exactly as provided then it may be invalid.
If none of the above work and you absolutely tried everything listed above, then please contact an administrator.
