Energetic Music
Energy. Power. Gamer Fuel.
We GAMERS THRIVE off the HARDCORE energies that permeate our physiology. There is no time to be *scared* when you can be absolutely SLAMMING IT to some Hyper Hits. Get that blood flowing! Get the adrenaline rushing! Pump the energy right out of you, into your fingers and onto your keyboard and subsequently your crotch when you piss yourself after getting jumpscared for the 10th time! Let the music make you lose control!
Here are a few of those megalomaniac music masterpieces that'll knock your socks off and rock your jocks off:

Beastie Boys - Intergalactic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qORYO0atB6g

If you listen to a lot of soundclowns or mashups, you might recognise this one. Or maybe you're just old enough to remember Y2K (in which case, what are you even doing here?).
Either way, it's a good listen with some wacky robo-beats. Easily the best way to distract yourself from the killer robots in the halls...

Death Grips - Takyon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Htl3XWUhUOM

Further down the soundclown rabbit hole (or just being outside the FNAF demographic), Takyon is a song you're probably familiar with. It's raw and revels in its unabashed brutality. It's also incredibly edgy and "gangster" if that's your thing.

Oingo Boingo - Little Girls
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8B_a0ZHNj8

Discord Moderator theme song (Laugh)

Lemon Demon - Touch-Tone Telephone
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbxL5BVEkRs

THE Lemon Demon Song.
But because it's such a basic pick, here's a list of every other Lemon Demon song that I think would fit here just as well:
Aurora Borealis
Really Cool Wig
Two Trucks (funny)
Bill Watterson
Fine
Archaeopteryx
Goosebumps
The Ocean
The Machine
Modify
Brodyquest
Cabinet Man
Eighth Wonder
Sweet Bod
Ancient Aliens
Soft Fuzzy Man
As Your Father I Expressly Forbid It
I Earn My Life
Reaganomics
Man-Made Object
I've Got Some Falling to Do
Redesign Your Logo
Switzerland
Action Movie Hero Boy

The Angels - Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fr-9Bh9a0sQ

The next best contender for the Aussie National Anthem, The Angels have made some real true blue Australian classics. Another favourite of mine from them is No Secrets, which fits here just as well.
Also, here's my favourite playlist, not related to this song in any way of course, haha...
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0UvVP6K5xPri7qERAOaCq3

The Replacements - Can't Hardly Wait
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siiylkcrnhw

Honestly just an amazing song. Give it a listen.

TF2 Fight Songs

heavy balls update when ? /?

And that just about rounds up the songs I thought of for this category.

Calming Music
Maybe instead of pumping the blood, you want to slow down the beat a little bit? Relaxing, not worrying about all the bad things in life like animatronics in fictional video games, taxes and the overwhelming amount of debt you owe. So chill, listen to these mellow tracks, and get through that one night you're struggling on!

The Lovn' Spoonful - Do You Believe in Magic?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnbfuAcCqpY

Pyro mains and old people rejoice! A silvery sweet rock classic to make you swoon or maybe a fitting accompaniment to arson... who knows?

Team Salvato - Your Reality (from DDLC)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAL4WMpBNs0

look at my profile.

The Liberation/Team Salvato - "I Still Love You" ambient guitar cover
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=818iN3A-u6g

This has been unlisted from YouTube and that's a damn shame. More people deserve to hear this cover, it's outstanding. To self-plaigiarise from my YouTube comment, it sounds a lot like something you'd hear from This War of Mine, which is an equally outstanding game that you should definitely check out if you have the chance.

Gene Wilder - Pure Imagination (from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ-uV72pQKI

Love this one. Just classic.

Antimo & Welles - No More Creepers (from Minecraft Story Mode)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLMK-jbwBm4

OK. So... Minecraft Story Mode... It's a game. Yes, probably not the best game, but damn if the soundtrack isn't good as hell. And, as someone who grew up with Minecraft and played Minecraft Story Mode as a little baby, I get really nostalgic listening to the main menu theme. It's a song ripe with nostalgia that I honestly wish got representation in Smash along with some of the other tracks from the game too (and the actual C418 tracks as well but bruh).

Deemo - Dream
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xdbhI3pqxY

This song also carries an intrinsic sense of nostalgia and is my favourite song from Deemo. I highly recommend playing it but I can only really recommend the mobile version for iOS because that's what I played. I'm not too sure the PC experience mirrors that of the original mobile game, but it might be just as good or even better, I just can't recommend that one as I haven't played it for myself.

Mason Lindroth & Chuck Salamone - Prevailing Westerlies (from Hylics 2)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkA95Gmpg0k

Hylics and Hylics 2 are very special RPGMaker games. The eccentric dialogue, the bizarre character and world design, and the jamming soundtrack of the second game make for a remarkably otherworldly experience. The first game's soundtrack has its charms but 2's has some real sweet tracks with some chilled out surfer vibes. I also really like Afterlife from 1 and its derivative in 2, but Prevailing Westerlies is far more chill.

Just as an addendum, the YIIK OST is just insanely brilliant. It's a shame that it's wasted on such an utter tragedy of a game it doesn't get more attention (I PLAYED YIIK AND I LIIKED IIT (YIIK I.V HYPE)) but, honestly, it just adds to the bizarre charm the game carries in spite of its many, *many* imperfections. Listen to the OST but don't play the game unless you're *insane*. I'd recommend for this category Thinking of You, Whenever You Are but I really really like Alex Eagleston's theme, although it doesn't quite fit in with these other calming songs all too well...
Ott Meme Music
Songs that are without description. Jokes of days past, relevancy strained but never forgotten.
Bring back some memories and hold back the tears, here's some songs that you might just remember fondly:

Scatman John - Scatman's World
https://youtu.be/7neipvZ_H0c

Spittin' Fax.

Your Favourite Martian - Transphobic Techno
https://youtu.be/3c6vDxvOXhQ

Back when Ray William Johnson was unabashedly Based.

Caramella Girls - Caramelldansen
https://youtu.be/zvq9r6R6QAY

As I'm writing this sentence, I'm listening to this song and smiling. It'd be a complete embarrassment years ago if you were caught listening to this, now it's a classic.

The Living Tombstone - Five Nights at Freddy's 1 Song
https://youtu.be/l18A5BOTlzE

Wow, can you imagine? The FNAF Song in a guide about songs to listen to while playing FNAF? Complete insanity. The balls of this man. The testes of this guy. The audacity.

SMOSH - The Legend of Zelda Rap
https://youtu.be/mO1QBTG6EXs

I miss them. I really do... THEY'RE BACK

Tobuscus - Viral Song
https://youtu.be/zzKFbUxYJys

Did you know that Cashews come from the Fruit?

Rob Cantor - Shia LeBeouf
https://youtu.be/o0u4M6vppCI

The comment below this one is dumb, the point of guides like these is to be funny and silly and goofy. It doesnt matter that its not practical, its funny.

Still wondering what the point of playing horror games is if you can´t even listen to important audio cues. Tutorials like these are just stupid. If you´re too scared to play a horror game, then don´t play it. Easy as that.
