Stronghold has a different Map Editor and I want to help the fans to create their own maps and play on them,so this tutorial will contain many informations that I think will help you make a very playable and realistic map.

Stronghold 3 Map Editor is not integrated into the game as the other games for the Stronghold Series have,it's something new because this is a 3D Map Editor not a 2D like in Stronghold Crusader for example.That's why it requires some basic knowledge to use it and I am going to show you step by step how to build a map.

After you finish the map you have to save it here:
C:\Users\[Username]\My Documents\Stronghold 3\Maps

@rcastillo1994 you have to access it via your "tools" tab in steam. you can find it if you mouse over library.

quick question, plz note that i haven't watched the tutorial videos yet, is it possiable to when creating the maps, to set it up so that time switches from day to night and back again? thx, for the revuew author of this page.

add me if you want to play this game...I like st3...but there are few lobbies. I used to play age of empires hd too, but st3 is very good, I also play, st.legends and cruzader,well I use to play at night, send me an invitation to play.

and is it possible to apply some ai from the campaing and put it on a folder to start create a map 1vs1 ? thanks :D
