Here are some go-to websites if you're new, interested or wanting to git gud to Killer Instinct.

Specifically for Killer Instinct: Infil's Dojo [ki.infil.net]
Universal guide to fighting games: Gief's Gym

General advice:
1. Do the tutorial.
2. Do the tutorial challenges.
3. Learn how to use training mode.
4. Play beginner difficulty until you no longer have to think about what you're doing to do stuff.
5. Don't do ranked multiplayer until you've done 4.
6. The master has failed more times than the newbie has tried. You're where you need to be and its ok if you're frustrated.
7. Have fun.

Also, use the shadow lab if you want some guidance as a new player. Once you create a shadow of your character, it'll show you a detailed analysis of where you've improved and where you've declined. Tell your friends to make one, too, and you can practice fighting them via their shadow once a day.

No wonder why Shadow Lords has been such a pain; I'm a beginner pleb trying to play the damn thing on Challenging and I keep getting my arse kicked so hard I want to smash my skull in. But...Normal nets less stuff ;-;

I dont know man, not every one learns the same, or same ways as others.

And Im saying you dont need to be frustrated to do that. Try it out. If you follow e-sports you'll notice that the big name players will take a minute or two just to calm down and recompose themselves. If you got where you are while being frustrated, imagine how much farther you can go if you werent? I hope this helps.

thats what i was going for! I remember being a newbie and being so overwhelmed by whats out there. So I boiled it down to the most relevant and most useful.
