Secret Organization
Preparation:
Get all weapon skills to 25
Do enough bad deeds to have the title of Rascal
Take the quest from the Bridgetown bartender before level 15
Keep good reputation with the Dutch to avoid sneaking into town.
Get good rep with Spain and purchase at least a 30 day trade permit.

1. Find and kill Fernando Rodriguez somewhere in the Caribean.
Search spanish cities and ask the bartenders about Fernando.
I found that he had just left Maricaibo on a Brigantine.
Board Fernando's ship and loot him.
Plenty of time to go to the abbot in Martinique to repair your
reputation with Spain and repair your ship.
Make sure to keep everything you got from Fernando to give the
bartender or fail.

2. Speak to Gaston in Bridgetown.
In exactly 10 days betwene 1 and 3AM sneak into Fleetwoods house in
Antigua and steal his log book. The house immediate to the right of
the governor's while facing toward the docks.
Here you will lose your ship.Good idea to get a cheap ship at
Capsterville and leave yours with the port authority there (I was
able to sail there in 74 Hrs time)then sail to Antigua.
Enter house 1AM kill one guard, loot guard for key, search the room
for Ledger. Exit room kill 4 guards, exit house fight more guards,
feint during battle and wake up at the drug store. John Murdock
tells you what happened and what to do. Go through the door in John
Murdoch's house that leads through the dungeon. Find the ladder and
exit at 1AM to speak to stranger (brigetown bartender Gaston AKA
Hercule Tonzag). Re-enter dungeon and go back and talk with Murdoch
again.
Now you have 7 Days to meet back with Murdock.
Good time to get back your ship from Capsterville and try to get a
full crew.

3.After meeting John it is learned that Charlie Knippel is on his
way to Curacoa to retreave Richard Fleetwoods love interest
Abigail. (Check Dutch reputation and repair on the way)
When arriving at Curacoa (east north east of Coast Van Halo) we
encounter a hostile brigantine, board and take it from Charlie.
After interogating Charlie and getting a Letter from Richard
(Charles kills poor Knippel) we head to Willemstad to find Abigail
and trick her into going to Antigua.
At Antigua we deliver Abigail to John Murdock as a guest while she
waits for Richards return.

In the evening we enter the bar and give a Ransome note to Jack
Garrison who delivers it to Richard for 5000 pesos.
After following him to Richards house then back to the tavern Jack
gives us Richards reply letter.

We head for Turks Island to set up an ambush.
(with no real time limit it is a good time to get a full crew. Use
a Class 3 Xebec or Corvette if possible. You will need a good ship
and large crew to defeat Richards Ship.)
Land at Turks Southern Bay go through the jungle to Northern Bay.
Sleep 48 hours to meet with Richard whom attacks you with his men.
After defeating Richard you loot him and return to your ship to
battle Richards ship.

Tough battle here so if you don't have a great ship with plenty of
crew try to stay far enough away from the Valkyrie that it cannot
do much damage to you and wait for it to run out of gunpowder
before grapeshotting its crew.
Loot the Valkyrie for 200,000 pesos and take it for repairs
then go to Antigua to speak with John Murdock.
After speaking with John and Abigail we decend to the dungion and
speak with Hercule who gives you some gifts. John concerned for his
life tells you about a currier lugger on route to Curacoa from
Philipsburg.
Hercule's then asks to join your crew.

4. Encounter the lugger with Purple sails from the global map just
west of Capsterville. Board it to give a letter to the
Captain to take to Rodenburg.

Sailing only one ship to Curacoa we notice the Meifeng at the
docks. At the tavern we learn that the Governor was jailed by
Rodenburg and the Meifeng was outfitted with pirates.

We board our ship and sail to coast Van Halo, enter the global map
travelling a short distance toward Martinique, we wait on global
for the Meifeng (purple ship) and board it. (keep the Meifeng)
Talk to Longway in the hold of your ship.
After questioning Longway we release him at Cape Inaccessible
and head to Capsterville.
(Use the Meifeng as your flag ship or you will be deemed a threat when nearing Stuyvesant's Ship)

At Capsterville we board the Gallion Peter and tell Peter
Stuyvesant about Rodenburgs plot to have him killed and take over
Willemstad.

After escorting Stuyvesant to Curacoa we follow him to the
governors estate and participate in the arrest of Rodenburg.
Asked to come back to the Governors for reward on the next day we
leave, auto jump to the prison, gloat at Rodenburg behind his bars
then leave to be met outside by Joachim Merryman who asks us to
find the ancient artifact hidden by Abigail's father Solomon.

After spending a night at the tavern and recieving rewards from
Stuyvesant and the Governor we go back to Antigua, tell John what
has happened then collect Abigail at the church to bring her home
to her father.

5 At Curacoa we lead Abigail home and question Solomon about the
island where he hid his fortune. With the promise to return the
treasures we learn the name of a ship and its Captain that may know
where the island is. After speaking to the Port authotity we learn
the Captain has headed to Trinidad.

Heading straight to Trinidad and not finding the Ship Leiden at
port we use the sail to option to get to Galera Point where we can
then sail to the Leiden. Captain Toff Keller gives us the
Coordinates for the island. In the Cabin of our ship we use the
think option to find the island on the map.

With Boussole and Working Chronometer equiped we sail to the
island.
(three Manga Rosa on the island, one near a rock at Buccaneers Bay
one on a small three treed mound in the middle of the island and
one to the right of the cave entrance.)

After getting the treasure Charles is attacked by 4 of Van Berg's
pirates.Getting back to Buccaneer Bay we get attacked by 8 more
pirates 3 of which have muskets.
(This fight took me a few times, reloading a save game from after
the treasure fight I unassigned my Boarders as to not have them
die. Turning left from the jungle at the far end of the beach in
the water betwene rocks, it is possible to fight 2 on one with
their backs to the musketeers blocking gunshot from hitting you. On
the last sword weilding pirate we keep him alive, timing our
gunshots to sidestep and shoot Musketeers while keeping the last
swordweilder betwene them to block thier blasts.)

After boarding our ship we sail without entering the global map
left around the island to battle Van Burg.
The rewards are not great and he blows up his ship.(fake Flying
Dutchman) It is a hard battle so it is better off sinking him with
bombs and cannonballs from a distance unless you really really want
his stuff- an all metal axe, duelling pistol, 'Talisman Joker' and
12,000 pesos.

After returning to Abigail at Curacoa we give her the money and get
kissed, Solomon hints that you should marry his daughter and you
leave.

Next door we meet Merryman upstairs and give him the ancient
artifact for 500,000 pesos.

Back on Antigua we enter the dungeon behind Murdock's house, then
go through the cave maze and enter the door to see John Murdock.
Relieved that he is out of danger and thankfull for your help he
gives you the title to his house and a Musket as a reward. He then
leaves Antigua for a quieter life.

(the title to the house unlocks the 'Home sweet home' achievement
and the Musket 'Naval Carbine' can be used for Caleuche.)

Going upstairs you introduce yourself to the scientist who gives
you an Alchemist Chest and a recipee. Speaking to him again he
gives you a List of Latin Expressions to study.

THE END! time to see your brother and continue 'The Burdon of
Gascon'.

I sure hope I didn't miss any important steps in the quests.
Do not hunt me down to walk the plank! Q('.'Q)
Important things you get.
782,000 pesos with a Kiss - 982,000 pesos without the Kiss
Patrol Brig Valkyrie.
A house with the 'Home sweet home' achievement and your own Scientist.
An Alchemist Chest, Antidote Potion recipe and the study of latin language.
Officer Hercule Tonzag, who has decent boarding and boatswain experience and can also man a ship in your fleet yet his low navigation skill of 24 will have to be worked on.

If you have the Caleuche DLC
5-6 months after the Gambit 'Strange amulet' will appear from most commonly a town tramp but can be found from a lighthouse keeper, from a wandering Indian or perhaps in some loot. When it does appear you will not have the option to turn it down.

nope if you command Meifang it will recon you as friendly so yeah can have 2 ships
Dreadnought 3 Jan, 2018 @ 10:29am
you should add that Dutch Frigate will only recon Meifang ship as ally/friendly
and if you capture the English brig is better to buy a ship to fight Meifang switch your ship for meifang and leave the English brig from fleetwood at some port if avaible

what happens to my stuff in the chest in the cabin are they gone? or if i have another ship it will be transported to my other ship?

I think the time line starts after releasing Longwei. So after capturing him head to St.Pierre and fix reputations. Then Wait at least 12 days to drop him off at Guatelloupe.

I used a class 3 . Its possible that you nhave damaged reputations with the dutch, if so stop at Martinique and repair it. Dont remember if there is a Time line for Stuyvesant.

I think the ship can't be a class 3 or greater either. I went through the entire mission series with a corvette, only to have him attack me again.

Realized I had to sail the meifang. Crappy thing is I couldn't stow my corvette prior to sailing over there as all of the docks were mysteriously "full". Don't feel like playing through the mission set a third time.

There will be other corvettes... or frigates...

Not sure about the Meifeng, but you can only take 1 ship when going to see Peter Stuyvesant or you are deemed to be too threatening.

Also-- trying to board Stuyvesants vessel--- it attacks me straight away. Is it because I have the Meifang?

Tried boarding by force and it won't even let me do that. Am I missing something here?
