Unlike a regular engineer(defenceive), hanging back at spawn or alittle way from the frontline trying to at least get a lvl 2 sentry befor set-up time ends, the combat engineer equiped with his gunsliger, runs to the frontline and wacks down his sentry(only costing 100 metle rather that 130), giving him the rest of set-up time to place any other stuff such as teleporters or despencers.

The following items are what i thhink are the best loadout for combat engie...


Loadout 1
Primary - Frontier Justice
Secondary - Defult Pistol/Lungamorph
Melee - Gunslinger

This loadout is good because with the Frontire Justice every sentry kill you get 2 revenge crits when its destroyed and 1 for helping a teammate.


Loadout 2

Primary - Widow Maker
Secondary - Defult Pistol/Lungamorph
Melee - Gunslinger

This loadout is good too. With the Widow Maker you get metle for every time you hit a enemy. You could walkout spawn(Currently 200 Metle), place a sentry(Now You Have 100 Metle), shoot someone(Now Your Back To 110 - 200 Metle Again). The metle you recive from hitting someone vairys depending on how far away they are.
