Dolbadarn Lake Light Railway

Situated inbetween Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons is the 13 mile long Dolbadarn Lake Light Railway. Built to serve the Coal and Slate Mines dotted along the course of the Line where the trains served the Towns and Villages along the way to pick up the miners to take them to their place of work.Preservationists have now reopened the line in conjunction with the Lake Cruiser, where you can take the Train to the terminus at Drefaldwyn and sail back to Dolbadarn.
