What is BIT.TRIP Void?
BIT.TRIP Void is one of the many games in the BIT.TRIP series, the latest one being Runner2. As you may know, in this game, you play as a ball that constantly grows when touching a black dot, or "beat" if you will, but shrinks when hitting a white one. This guide will teach you some tactics (hence the name.) for playing this game.
SHRINK.GROW
As you may know, hitting space will result in the player shrinking, without having to use the white beats. Use this, as the white beats will make you lose points (duh!).

But it is also difficult to immediatly switch from as-big-as-hell to Oh, hey! Look! A tiny dot! Try practicing it constantly in Id, until you can switch from big to small in an instant! (This is very helpful if your trying for the PERFECT. achievments.

Also, if you get to a point where no beats are coming at you, a Checkpoint, or a spot where there are alot of white beats, and almost no black beats (the fewer the better, suprisingly), use that time to shrink. EVEN if your only just a LITTLE bit big. It might be while before you get the chance to shrink again without getting launched beats at (at least black ones.)
QUICK.A
If you feel the controls are a bit trippy (I do.), try playing the first part of Id, then restarting and trying it a bit faster...and again...and again...and again, until you feel like you can cope with the controls.
This also works for trying to memorize the beats, or for getting quicker and better at a level by going a little bit farther each restart.
Of course, you can always take a quick jog down to Walmart or Best Buy and get yourself a Controller emulator for your computer (Don't forget the controller too!).
ACHIEVEMENT.HUNTR
If your looking to unlock a certain achievement, write it down on a peice of paper, and put it infront of you, as well as its discription, and some you could possibly run into along the way. Nothing is worse than finding out you ALMOST got an achievement, but purposfully didn't to make getting your other achievement easier.
It also helps to look up Youtube videos of people trying to get the same achievement as you. Try to copy them as much as possible, avoiding mistakes they made (unless it led them closer to getting the achievement. Then happily jump infront of that white beat!)
Also, ALWAYS have the game put on Normal. Even if its too hard for you, then simply keep trying. It will get you the COMPLETED Achievements.
