"After long time of researching we finally found a postcard that validates that there has been a football World Cup in the Middle Ages. You can see a match of the 1236 tournament, where the teams of "Konstantinopolis Ludis" (Konstantinople Sports) and " 'iilaa al'amam medina" (Forward Medina) played. We´re not sure yet, but it was probably the semi final and K.S. (red) won with 4-3.
After the Fourth Crusade football became more and more famous in the Arab region, but how long it already exists in Europe is not proved yet.
