[Chapter 1] The GM's Request

Q: How do I raise my family level to level 5?
A: Family level is the sum experience of all your family members. The higher leveled your characters are, the higher your family levels. You will reach level 5 when all three members of your family are around level 5x. Alternatively, a fourth family member will raise your family level quickly.

Q: What is "inanimate object"?/ What is "creature monster"?
A: The GM is asking you to hunt a specific creature type.To answer this quest, you should know that there are five creatures types in Granado Espada.

Creature Type
Name in Quest
Descriptor
Commonly Found Field
Commonly Found Mission
Lifeless
Inanimate Object
Dolls and Machines
Torsche Mansion
Demonic Torsche Mansion
Wildlife
Creature Monster
Animals, dogs, comodos, dinosaurs, etc
Queen's Gate, Toukbal region, Ustir region
Demonic Toukbal Mines

Monsters who look like people
Al Queltz Moreza
Bridge Raid: Al Queltz Moreza
Undead

Zombies, ghosts, walking dead
Porto Bello region, Jaquin Prison region
Demonic Porto Bello, Bridge Raid: Jaquin Prison

As you can see, fields usually have corresponding mission instances. Said missions can usually be found on Coimbra Bridge (outside Coimbra), or Bounty Hunter's Guild (in Auch). Alternatively, you can ALT+RIGHT CLICK a monster to view its stats and creature type.

Q: Why am I not getting event tokens?
Originally posted by GM NPC:
This is a field quest. This is a mission quest. Know the difference, it could save your life!

A: You are hunting in the wrong area. Field (open areas everyone can enter) hunt monsters are different from Mission (instanced rooms) hunt monsters. If the GM requests "mission" type monsters, you will not find tokens killing "field" monsters.

Q: What is inside Holy Knight's Shining Box?
A: A set of timed accessories that give you +10 to each stat. However, it is unwise to open them now since you would still be on your beginner accessories. You should open them later.

Q: How do I use the constellation weapon merchant?
A: Once you use the item, a single merchant will spawn. Talking to him within five minutes will bring up a list of Constellation items to choose from. You may choose one weapon per merchant use. There is no cost, you receive the weapons for free.
[Chapter 2] Commonly Asked Questions and Answers

Here I will give quick answers to quick questions. More detailed answers will be provided in the notes as necessary. I will try to keep answers within one sentence or two.

Basics/ UI Related Questions

Q: Where can I buy wrap scrolls?
A: Leonardo Expresso.

Q: How do I change my starting location?
A: Go to the waypoint at the location you want to save in. At the bottom right corner, there is a button to save this area as your start point.

[Chapter 3] Better Pioneering

Here, I will lay out some tips and advice for new pioneers so that your pioneering will be smoother. Following this advice will help you level faster, get through your quests easier, and make the game more enjoyable overall.

Have you +6 and enchanted your Cresemento weapons and armours?
You can very easily upgrade your Cresemento weapons and armours to +6 and up to +80% racial. They are cheap at 1 shiny crystal apiece and 1 shiny crystal again for every upgrade.

Novice chips can be bought from any enchanter for cheap, so you have an almost unlimited amount of tries. You can use Cresementos for a very long time, and can even complete some of the hardest quests (Valeria's recruitment, Torsche's recruitment) with them and the free beginner items.

For weapons, try to get as close to +70% racial as you can, then make another one with the auto-enchant option.

For armours, try to get DEF, MOVESPD, and +HP. It is easy to get them all and will make movement and life much easier for you.

Have you checked the Market Manager (MM)/ the Full Quest List/ Info Center?

If you are stuck on a quest, you can check the ingame resources to help you.

If you are missing a quest item, check the MM, it is possible it is not a quest drop and can be bought from other players.

If you don't know how to proceed on a quest, you can check the "full quest list" button in the quests tab to see your progress.

If you don't know what to raid or what characters are there in Granado Espada, you can use the Info Center (CTR+M) for a full encyclopedia of the game.

If all else fails, you can check Jupath, the T3fun quest guide, or any other outside resource for help.

Have done your scenario quests?

There is no need to grind early on, the scenario quests all give a lot of exp, the main storyline up to Prison of Joaquin gives exp almost to the high 80s and 90s, after which you can just remain in prison or eat EXP cards for the last few levels.

The combined Ustir/ Bahamas/ SCR scenario will level a Veteran team of 3 up to near Expert, and you can fill in the rest with Veteran G EXP cards (10% of a Veteran level).

You should be doing these scenario quests to quickly get to expert, since getting +2AR/DR and expert stances is a huge boost to power, allowing you to do the rest of the quests easily.

Take note that it only gives three characters the boost to expert, provided the team goes through the entire storyline. So you should have an idea who you want to promote to Expert before you board the ship to Ustir.

For compairson, I did all my scenario quests and leveled from 1-100 in a day and a half, Veteran to Expert on my third day. This is much faster than grinding out mobs in the field.

How do I choose a team?/ How do I know which characters are good?

Ideally, you want to choose characters you like. For newer pioneers this means "characters that can level up fast". However, for most people, this question usually means "who does the most dps". Characters are usually defined by:

  • 1) Their base stats
  • 2) Their expert stance (the weapons they use)
  • 3) Their usage in raids/afk/SCR/pvp

The higher a RNPC's relevant base attack stats, the more damage they do. The higher their HP stat, the more likely they will survive and can tank.

Expert stances that can hit quickly (three or four cycles) with a heavy weapon that has high attack are likely to be strong stances for autoattacking. Magic stances will depend on how much AR and Penetration their stance can bring.

Both factors above will affect a character's viability in raids/afk/SCR/pvp.

For beginners, it is a good thing to take ranged characters since you will be less likely to die during raids and have an easier time afk farming. This is why Bernelli is reccomended to new players: High base stats, good stance for leveling, and still useful in raids.

Alternatively you can just use a tier list (only for KGE and not for our version).

Hey @emmerololth, I haven't played the game in a long long time, but you should be able to proceed by playing the main quest, there are unlocks at the end of each major questline for each area (e.g Ustir, Bahamas etc...) If not, check your cash inventory, you should be able to exchange tickets with Leonardo Expresso.

nice but miss a very inportant point: you have to BUY CASH ITEM to use the market. To finish Judgment Day you need Kryptonite for the quest, and that's a exclusive drop item in pay area.....-.-
