Introduction
First and foremost, here's the link to the spreadsheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eAMkfvE5X3jO-Ncnoc1d-CGLVH9mhbvLJS93b7fd-2o/edit?usp=sharing

This spreadsheet is a tool I created for myself in order to help me keep track of Plans I was able to complete. I also wanted it to tell me where I was able to acquire the necessary items, or find the monsters I had to defeat.

Since it worked very well for me, I thought I should share it.

I hope it helps you as it helped me! =)
How to use it
Almost everything in the spreadsheet is calculated automatically, but there are a few things you should know before using it. The short version of the explanation can be found on the spreadsheet, but here's a more detailed explanation.

FIRST AND FOREMOST
Go to "File > Make a copy..." before you try to use the spreadsheet! I recommend using it on Google Sheets because Excel lags A LOT when calculating the formulas, and some features might not work properly.

Basic Instructions
  • Most of this spreadsheet is protected so you don't accidentally ruin it. You should receive a warning if you try to change what you shouldn't.
  • Use the Plans tab to mark available and completed plans (columns D "Own" and F "Done").
  • Use the Locations tab to mark unlocked storyline dungeons (column B "Unlocked", rows 2-24).
  • Just to be safe, ALWAYS use an X to mark available and completed plans, as well as the available storyline dungeons on "Locations" tab.

Helping Tools
  • There are two main tools on Home tab used to find items and monsters you're looking for. Make sure you type the name correctly, or else it won't work. These search tools are NOT case sensitive, though.
  • You can only find chips, materials, and some tools (ie, consumable items) this way.
  • The list of available locations for the items you're looking for will show on the right.
  • If an item is marked as available (blue) on "Plans" tab but doesn't show on Home tab and doesn't have any note on it, then it's available on Shop.
  • On the left side of Home tab, you'll see a list with the plans you can complete either with the items you have, or with items that you can farm.
  • Blue plans below are available for sure, while the grey ones depend on limited items.

Filtering and Sorting
  • Do NOT filter/sort any of the tabs! Instead, always use "Data > Filter views" so it doesn't change the default sorting order.
  • It's safer to close the view once you finish using it, but probably not necessary.
  • Some views have already been created. I do not recommend creating views for the Home tab.
  • I've included some Quick Links on Home tab for some of the filter views I have created.

Tabs
  • Feel free to check other tabs (Plans, Locations, Monsters, and Loot) if you want to manually search for something specifically.
  • The Plans tab contains detailed information on the plans. It's also where you should mark available/complete plans. It also shows notes on how to find other items needed for plans, like accessories, items that are limited per playthrough, items obtained from Colosseum/Quests etc. Blue requirements are available to you, while red ones are not. The few exceptions -- the grey ones -- may or may not be available.
  • The Locations tab will show a list of available dungeons, as well as the plans you have unlocked to alter them. It is also where you should mark unlocked storyline dungeons (column B "Unlocked", rows 2-24).
  • The Monsters tab contains a lot of information on enemies, including XP and Credits dropped (note that "Rough" enemies require the Add Enemies plan, while Tough enemies require the Add Super Enemies plan). You can also check if they're available to fight.
  • The Loot tab will list all Idea Chips, Tools, and Materials that you can farm in dungeons. You can also check if they're currently available.
Notes for advanced spreadsheet users
A couple of notes for experienced spreadsheet users that plan on altering its basic structure
  • There are some hidden tabs used for some formulas. If you want to change the spreadsheet, make sure you notice them.
  • There are many hidden auxiliary columns with white text so it doesn't confuse normal users. Don't forget to change them if you need to.
Final words
Well, I hope this spreadsheet helped you complete your plans.

If you think it is a good tool, don't forget to rate this guide up! ;)

nice work

Well, I haven't gotten the DLC, so I'm reluctant to push Stella very far, but that's fair.

For RB3, I ended up not having to worry about it because Stella kinda got me way more than I ever needed. I just didn't unlock all character plans because completing those challenges was very annoying.

That's the plan! And I keep finding myself wanting to know "how many more of this item do I need for plans?" :P

I thought of doing it for RB3, but gave up when I noticed they've conveniently added the farming locations from the plan menus. If you do it, though, make sure you publish it so other can benefit from it ;)

Sorry, I don't remember how it was done. I slowly replaced this for my similar guide for Re;birth2, which is more simple. Are those new DLC, by the way?

I'm sorry that I don't plan on going back to this because spreadsheets are a bit hard to figure out when you leave them alone for a while, but if anyone gets into it and fixes it, I'd gladly add the new link here.

Any pointers for adding the DLC dungeons 'Lili Dungeon', 'Ario Plateau', 'Rebeat Resort', and the Giant and Mini dungeons? I started to add the first three to the bottom of the 'Locations' sheet, and then I noticed that the formulas for adding enemies/harvest shift use cell references rather than lookups (better performance, I imagine), and decided against it; I don't want to break anything, and I'm not sure how much I want to dig into the formulas...

I'm baking up a better tool yet for Re;birth2... Stay tuned ;)
