Some AC Origin tips that tutorial doesn't cover
By Le_Lee
These are some tips that the game doesn't tell you but I found them to be really cool and will improve your overall experience. If you have any tip or feature I've not covered, feel free to comment below.

Thank you.

Tips
1. Fire arrow.
Drop a torch on the ground, aim above the fire and you will instantly have fire-arrow. Useful to take down a cluster of enemies in a flammable area (i.e. grasses).

2. Quick escape on mount.
When running toward a direction, calling a mount will have it run beside you for awhile, enable a smooth and bad-ass hop-up that allow you to escape. This is particularly useful when you are being chased or shot by archers.

3. Roll on landing.
Holding the free-run, jump, scale-up button on landing (default: ALT key) will minimize fall damage. Bayek will perform a shoulder roll that helps keep the movement flow, reduce landing noise and doesn't make you feel like an amateur. However, for high distant, Bayek will still take damage, but way less comparing to not holding the ALT key.

4. Red pots are mortally flammable.
You probably see lots of red pot during your gameplay. These pots can be broken by arrows or thrown in a group of enemies. Setting these on fire will instantly burn them to the ground.

5. Eject backward.
Pressing ALT while climbing will make Beyek ejecting backward. If there are deep water, haystack under him, Bayek will perform a beautiful backward dive. Never get old of seeing that.

6. Be the eagle in the long trip.
Holding X (default) will set you on auto-pilot, stick to the road to your marker, you can then switch to Senu to do some scouting. This, however, will not work with auto-run (press X).

7. Hood on-off
Press Middle mouse (Mouse 3) while hovering over your outfit section in the menu will allow you to put your hood on or off. However, there is no dedicated button or animation for real time toggle. I really hope dev put it into the game soon, it will be a real icing on the cake for lots of people, including me.

EDIT: with the latest update, you can press the icons next to your outfit to toggle hood, hair and beard.
We still need that animation for the hood tho.

8. Throw dead body / torch
While carrying a dead body, hold the AIM button (default R mouse) and press L mouse to throw the body. You can quickly dump body off the railing or into bushes, or into crowed area to attract guards for diversion.
The same move can be applied for torch. Throwing torch into red pots will automaticly break them and spread fire in the vicinity. Guards often happen to stand next to them.

9. Torch on house
With the lastest update, you can now use torch while on house. (What took them so long ?!)

10. Area-of-effect sleep dart.
Throw a single sleep dart in the fire will cause a giant smoke screen putting everyone around it to sleep. You can use this at night to easily clear the entire convoy or campfire party.
However, pay attention as the dart tends to fall over distance. To ensure maximum accuracy, find a elevated area where you can have a clear shot of the fire.
EXTRA FEATURES
Shoe or no shoe ?
Some armor with out shoes will generate different, quieter footstep. You can hear this by running on rooftop. This, however, make no different in gameplay, but it's a nice touch nevetheless.

Muffled voice with masked hood.
Wearing a hood with mask will actually muffle your voice ! How cool is that ?!

Much appreciated. I j=have also learned from experience that the best way to level up fast is to do a lot of exploring and side quest until one is mid-level. This would obviously make defeating enemies easier. I also use disassemble to get more materials needed for crafting which also improve melee damage, secret blade damage and health.

Thank you for this.
Where can I find the tutorial you mention? I am new not just to Assassins Creed but to this kind of game in general, and I don't have a clue what I am doing!

I did not know about the fly/drive....so your mount will stick to the path to the next mission while you fly over head? Good info brother, thank you. I am just now playing this one. I have found Ubisoft games to be like wine...you have to let them breathe and develop and mature before playing for the best experience. IMHO.

I discovered the Area of Effect sleep dart yesterday when I saw it in the menus as a tip, had no idea about the fly as Senu while riding though, nice!
