First of all, this program isn't created by me. I am just showing it off.
The creators: Geel And Jesse from Scrap.tf

Start

First:You will need to download the program: ( from github)
Steam Desktop Authenticator

Second:Now the first step is to extract it.
Third: When you run the program you will see Setup New Account.
Then you will type your username And password. ( Steam Username and Password )
Then Enter your phone number that you wish to use (When you press accept after entering your phone number you will get a message from STEAM that will contain a code. and you will enter the code in the box where it is needed. ) And Remember the Recovery Code
You will get another window asking you to type your Recovery Code

Fourth: You should have got a window asking you to input your Recovery Code you will need to Type you're Recovery code. (This is a step because if you lose this and you don't have the phone number or this you can lose your account)

Fifth: Encryption Key (Encryption key is like a password every time you launch the program it will ask you for the encryption key.You don't need to put a password you can just press cancel and you will skip that step)
End: Now you are finished if you followed my instructions. It should look like this.

Note: Update SDA, This is a very old Guide so I am not sure If it works? It's still kinda clunky and weird but when you get it going. It's an amazing tool. Back up the SDA on google driver or on a USB so you don't lose your account.

I keep getting steam "general fail" whenever i try to put in a phone number. Do you have a fix for this?

there is no login token present in the box above the word "account" . So now what do i do?

@sugar momma uhm are you typing your number correctly? I've tried SDA a white a go but I think it works fine? And it constantly gets updates.If you have any errors contact the devs from SDA w github.
