Can confirm the previous users. Done on January 29th, 2025, this thing still works, just don't expect any pop-ups or anything. If done correctly you'll be hearing whispers in the mines and you'll get to hit the gathering in the evening, upon which you receive the mask.

Event still available, you will not get any notifications but you can interact with the graves and after visiting all 3 el tio statues there was a special event in pucara where I could kill the leader and got the broken el tio mask. Thanks for this well made guide

Thanks for making this guide, it helped me alot. One thing I'd like to add is that for the tombs, they have a pickaxe lying around and a few noises and voices emanates from them.

for the statues what you really have to do is kill each of the enemies carrying the mask near the statue

frigid, one thing i always did to finish this is always shoot the statue at least once after clearing the mine
