When Playing After Zeroing for the First Time. (You will receive the Golden Key).

First time playing through.
When playing for the 1st time these achievements can be obtained (and on future playthroughs too):
1.) Demon Slayer.
Kill all the demons in the game.

2.) Pinstripe God.
Winning the Game without taking damage: Without falling into holes, avoiding bombs (from demons and traps), and in the fight against the Boss anticipate when seeing a mark on the ground to dodge.

3.) Sherlock.
Investigate all 9 Tracks being: The Necklace, Design Block, Bible, Sheet of Paper, Vial, Crosswalk, Torn Paper, Newspaper and Whiskey Bottle. Press (I) and Investigate all Tracks.

4.) A not-so-nice guy.
In the dialogue these are the dryer and sarcastic answers.
Choose mostly the moon symbol dialogue options.

5.) Nice guy.
In the dialogue these are usually pleasant/nice answers.
Choose mostly the sun symbol dialogue options.
When Playing After Zeroing for the First Time. (You will receive the Golden Key).
6.) Frozen Drops Addict.
Picking up 1,000 drops is cumulative(aka not including purchases I believe) and is easily done once you can access the secret rooms.

7.) Puppy Papa.
Buy a little rag for George.
On the right side of Mr. Dicky's house.
Value: 200 drops.

8.) Dapper Ted.
Buy Mr.Pinstripe's Suit off of Happy in the Red .

Value: 300 drops.

9.) Gangster.
Buy the Thompson Machine Gun.
On the left side of the house where Mr. Dicky is found for the First Time. (shoot through some wooden beams to get in)
Value: 1000 drops.

10.) Speed Demon.
Zero in Less than one hour 01: 00H.
(Tip) Get into some Secret Room pick up 300 drops and then go buy Mr.Happy's Pass without having to rummage through the rest of the Phase. This will earn you a much faster time and Zero between 00:35 and 00:45 minutes depending on how fast you move, you could probably get way faster :p.

11.) Explorer.
Enter the 3 Secret Rooms: When Zero'd you'll have the Golden Key, with it you have access to these 3 rooms.
1: The Left of the Train.
2: On the Hill.
3: Upon entering the Cave.

12.) Lepidopterologist.
Collect the 13 Butterflies.
They are located:
  • 3 In the First Secret Room.
  • 1 In the Second Secret Room.
  • 1 In the Third Secret Room.
  • 1 In the Cave when Revealing a Minigame (spot the difference).
  • 7 In the Game Epilogue.
Extras
Vintage Mode
To access this mode, just find the 5 film tapes and finish the game I believe? There's a part where you can utilise them anyway.
  • 1: When throwing in the Lamp where the Game begins after the Epilogue.
  • 2: To the right of where George is trapped, climb up as high as you can for it to drop down.
  • 3: Jump on the bed for a whiiiileee.
  • 4: Win twice at the shooting game at the Balloon Factory.
  • 5: Play all the Pool Balls in the Suspended Basin.

Was using this guide to keep track of things. I was prepared to do a few playthroughs to do collectibles, then one for no damage, then one for Speed Demon. I think because I started playing on one computer, quit out, then picked up my playthrough on another computer that the game didn't keep track of my time or damage for the remainder of my run on the new computer. Ended up getting both achievements when my run in reality was over an hour and I had taken damage before swapping computers. Strange game.

After 6-7 runs of 30 minutes, the "Speed ​​Demon" achievement did not appear. I tried all the options, including deleting it in the registry, etc. Personally, the following option helped me:
1) Before launching the game, disable "Synchronization with Steam Cloud" in the game settings
2) Before launching, delete 3 time files from the registry (described on the pages which ones)
3) Completed the run without receiving damage or saving (I did not pick up all the items)
As a result of these manipulations, lo and behold, the achievement was received

i'm here in 2024 and half the achievements aren't working for me either :steamsad: i've gotten over 2000 frozen drops on adventure mode and bought the sweater and suit - but still nothing! on my first runthrough i got four achievements (demon slayer, pinstripe god, nice guy, and sherlock, all of which unlocked properly), but on my second runthrough no achievements are popping up once the criteria was met. i tried verifying the game files multiple times but that didn't seem to help either. if anyone's found a solution, i'd love to hear it!

edit: after quitting the game and reloading it, the achievements popped up all at once! i know speed demon won't work without going into the game files, but quitting and reloading the game might just help with everything else

I tried. This is the fourth time I've played the game and the butterflies and Sherlock achievements have not yet been unlocked. I give up

Many of these achievements refuse to unlock at first. Verifying your game files helps with most of them (for some reason). For me, frequently doing that allowed me to unlock everything except Speed Demon, for which it turns out you have to mess with a variable in the Windows registry before you start up the game. Use the registry editor, and find the variables for Pinstripe, and then delete the one that has to do with time (which will probably say "invalid value" or something). There are more detailed guides in the discussion posts I believe.

The game achievements are totally broken, I received one achievement I shouldn't have received, and didn't get a handfull of others I should have (Frozen Drops Addict, Dapper Ted, Gangster)... I'm a bit disappointed, I was shooting for 100%, this isn't fair.

speed demon can be aquired with closing the game and opening it again no problem. you just need to play and then close the game. start up again and timer hasnt changed. I got to know that accidenly, but trust me it works
