✎ Abilities Setups
Early Game (1~8)
  • Backlash: quick damaging gap closing skill with low cost, blink behind enemy target and backstab.

  • Battle Stomp: pretty decent aoe radius in a straight line, dealing dmg and set knockdowns on enemies, also clear surfaces. (Can backstab!)

  • Adrenaline: Gain 2 AP for this turn but lose 2 AP on the next turn (a tradeoff), use it when you need to confirm a kill to trigger Executioner talent or just simply want to finish off some high threat targets.

  • Bull Horns/Rush: Bull Rush is a reliable tool both as a gap closer to position yourself behind enemy line and at the same time, an attack to hit multiple targets with good scaling. It also apply Bleeding and has 1 turn CD so you can hug your targets forever till they die.

  • Battering Ram: Rush foward to your target, can use both as a gap closer as well as to set knockdown on your enemies and to position yourself behind enemy line for backstabs. (Can backstab!)

  • Heart of Steel: grants decent amount of armour, also regen armour per turn for 3 rounds.

  • Chicken Claw: turn vulnerable enemy into a Chicken for 2 turns, pretty much a Terrified version of physical CC. If character has Opportunist, they may get a free attack when the Chicken disengage from them.

  • Rupture Tendons: Apply Rupture, target will take damage on movement, can combo into Chicklen Claw, forcing target to move on their turn.

  • Teleportation: gather enemies close together.

  • Whirlwind: a spinning attack, doing damage to nearby enemies. (Can backstab!)

  • Uncanny Evasion: Grants you 90% dodge and cause weapon attacks to be ineffective, useful against weapon-user enemies.

  • Cloak & Dagger: jumping skill for positioning use.

Mid Game (9~15)
  • Sleeping Arms: set Atrophy to disable weapon-user enemies from using their weapons for 2 turns.

  • Sawtooth Knife: deal damage pierce to target HP, can combo with Skin Graft or ally Ranger's Marksman Fang to pick off enemies quickly without destroying their armors.

  • Skin Graft: reset all cooldowns.

  • Cloak: Hide and proctect character from enemies.

  • Haste: +1 AP Start/Recovery, you can have other character buff it for the Rogue instead. Ignore if you go with the Glass Cannon route.

Late Game (16+)
  • Challenge: Mark an enemy, if the target dies within 2 turns then your character will receive bonus Armors and +20% Damage boost for a turn.

  • Fan of Knives: Throw knives to every targets in range, useful as a powerful multiple targets from range, can combo into Skin Graft for double uses. It is also potentially powerful single target attack when cast it from onside while standing super close behind an enemy, making every dagger projectiles fly toward one target.

  • Peace of Mind: Damage and Critchance boost.

  • Apotheosis: reduces all source powers by -3 SP for 2 turns, meaning after Apotheosis is casted. You are free to use any source powers with no cost for the duration. It also provide a small stat boost on all attributes like Peace of Mind does.

Great build, LS, I'm having fun with it. Have you considered taking Torturer instead of Mnemonic? Torturer synchs well with rogues; Bull Horns, Rupture Tendons, and Sawtooth Knife all benefit, plus statuses commonly found on knives. It also allows you to use Worm Tremor (I'm a big fan) and bypass magic armor. I'm at level 7 right now running an all-physical party, and with gear bonuses I'm still at 24 Finesse, having taken 3 Fin points to make up for Mem.

As a brand-new player, I appreciate the thorough guide. However, I'd love to know if there is a preferred set of skills to memorize out of the ones mentioned (the highest memory value in this build is 18, and the total cost of the skills is 26. Which skills should I drop when I reach the memory limit?

Mnemonic gives 3 extra Memory points, it was taken into account beforehand, same for Poly points whenever one is taken.
Joji 10 Sep, 2022 @ 12:30pm
On level 3, it says: 19 FIN, 13 Memory, 2 Poly, Mnemonic.
How can you get 19 fin and 13 memory at the same time though?

Hello, If I want to use Rogue together with an archer, how would gearing work in Arx, if they both use the same unique set? Who should have priority? Should I look for mods?

@Lyons check if you have a dagger equiped that's higher lvl than your character. The game let's you equip it but you suffer a accuracy penalty, so you tend to miss a lot :)

I seem to be missing quite a lot of my attacks on this build. Am I missing something?

I am going to call it Blood Knife, feel free to use the name I don't mind. So far I have:

10 dual wield, daggers
1 warfare (talent executioner)
3 Necromancer
6 scoundrel. All scoundrel attacks
Or instead of necro 3 points on air for
Blinding radiance, shocking touch
Teleportation, nether swap. Since scoundrel attack both physically and magic armor this skills work well. Also scoundrel damage is based on you finesse And dual daggers

I was wondering, are you making more builds, because I would really enjoy a Sibille build with rogue AND necromancer as main abilities. I am trying to make it myself, but I am not that good at that and I have a hard time finding people to play with to finish the game a few times with others before doing solo games and honor mode games
