Hit your first freestyle? Planning on making a OCE (One Clip Edit), fire up rocket league only to remember you play at 800x600 on minimum? Don't worry, i'm going to show you how you can turn that potato recording to a full ultra (Except motion blur nobody likes motion blur) 60FPS Montage which you can upload online and boast to your friends that you have a GTX 1080ti SLI setup when really you have a Lenvo G400s *cries inside*.

Lets start of with what you'll need:

• A Potato PC (Or any PC that can't record nice videos)
  
• A Recording Software (My Recommendation and what I use is Windows Game Recorder)
  - Comes preinstalled with the windows 10 update, but any should do as long as it isnt so bad.
  (Fraps is not recommended)
  
• Rocket League (duh)
  
• To Donate all your white painted Dracos and Octanes to me
  
• Video Editing Software (Any Basic one that can speed up a video is great)
  
• a DailyMotion Youtube account to upload the videos
  
• Like and Follow this guide? (pls and thx)

This is how i play Rocket League everyday of my life:

So you've booted up Rocket League, loaded up your clip and wondering what next to do.

Edit: Pause the Clip first.

First things first is (I know this sounds stupid but) Crank the settings to max till your PC wants to explode. (Warning don't go super high till the game crashes, just enough to make it look beautiful)

Like literally go from this:

Next thing you have to do is hold down on the play button (Shift for PC users) and select the speed as 25% (If you're planning on doing a slow motion shot set it to 5%):
From this point on you should know where this is going and Yes it works (Theres self advertisment proof at the end)

Here's some basic maths for you to see if you're worthy of 60FPS:

Current lagging af FPS * 4 = Final Video FPS

For example the FPS i get when recording is 13

13*4 is obviously 60fps so I get 60fps 52, but its smooth enough for me to render in 60fps with little to no difference.


From this point on its up to your creativity on how you want to make the video, advisable to do shots where the camera is standing still and the car does the work. (The Videos will be quite long at first but will be shortened in the Editing Software)

Once you've recorded your dank freestyle clip, find the video file and import it into your video editing software. (Now this part may vary depending on your video editing software, if you need to see how to do it on your specific software go to this site www.google.com and use the search bar).


For this tutorial i'm using Sony Vegas 13.0:
Import you're video(s) into the software.

Right click the video and go to properties (this applies to whatever software you're using):

Set the playback speed to 4.0 (Same applies for if you recorded at 5%, it will be played as a video at 20% speed 1/5 the normal speed)

(Pro tip: Disable Resample to get rid of the ghosting affect) :

The rest is up to your uncreative mind and how you make the video that will probably never get famous and sit in the depths of youtube (Like mine). So Enjoy!

Here is proof that this method actually does it, there might be youtube tutorials on this already but I thought i might as well spread it to you guys. This was edited by me in a day on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop. If you're wondering the specs of my laptop. Its a G400s Lenovo i3-3100 something with 8GB ram and an intel HD4000, I barely get 50 fps on minimum settings.
