This is a Full List of some things you will need for making posters.
I'd say starting with TF2 or Half-Life Posters is the best way to start. As, they are the simplest posters to make. Than, when you get a little better at posing and get familiar with what to do, you can go on to create other kinds of posters and use other kinds of things from the workshop. -DISCLAIMER- I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE WORKSHOP MODS!

Thats about it.

Step 1. Go into Garrysmod and go to your spawn menu. Towards the bottom there should be a tab called "RobotBoy" Under this tab should be any Robotboy/Rubat Mods you have downloaded. Select the Easy Animation Tool.

2. Once you've selected the tool, Spawn a TF2 or HL2 Model. I Chose to use a TF2 Soldier Model.
After you spawn the model, Hold "c" on your keyboard and right click the model. The're should be a Command that says "Make Animatable" Select that and your Ragdoll will go into a T-Pose.


3. Now that the Ragdoll is in the T-Pose, Right Click on the T-Pose Model and hold "c". A Menu showing all of the avalible animations the game that the model is from has to offer. Some animations will not work properly. so watch out for those ones.

4. Select an Animation and the model will preform that animation. If it is a sequence animation, such as a taunt or reload animation, it will constantly play that animation. to stop it, just click "r" on the model as it's going and it will pause the animation.

5. Now Open the "q" Menu up an under the "Construction" Tab should be a "Bone Merger" Tool. Select this tool.

6. Now, Go to the search box above the list of games/models. Search for whatever class you are using in your poster. I Searched for soldier. Once done, you'll get a loading screen. this screen only takes about a minute to load. (Once you've done this, you won't have to do it again until you create a new game.)

7. Select a Hat/Cosmetic. Once done, Click on the model you/ve spawned in, then click on the Hat/Cosmetic. Right click anywhere and your cosmetic will be added to the Model!
Afterwards, you may want to add more cosmetics. Just do the same thing over and over again.


8. Afterwards, you might wanna put a weapon in the models hand. To do this, just do the same with the cosmetics. Click the Model, Then the spawned weapon, Then right click, and there you go.


9. Now you can do some weird/crazy stuff. like my Linkin Park Fanboy Scout:

Advanced Posters can range from a TF2 Model to a Random thing you found on the workshop.
Most of mine are TF2 Related, But some are JJBA. These are more complex to the point where i can't put pictures to show how to do this. But there will be some example screenshots.
