Beskrivning
This simple mod will remove useless courtiers and improve long-term performance.

The "court prune" (behind-the-scenes action where irrelevant courtiers are silently removed from the game) has also been made stronger: any 1 year old or older person (in vanilla is 40!) who is absolutely useless (e.g. no honorary title or council job) and unconnected to important people will be removed in courts larger than 1 person (vanilla is 10).

If you are in doubt over whether someone is important or not, ask yourself:

1) Does the courtier have a Council job?
2) Does the courtier have a honorary title?
3) Does the courtier have a living parent, sibling, child, rival, friend or lover?
4) Does the courtier belong to a landed dynasty?

Only if you answer "No" to all these questions will the courtier be pruned.

Thus, late game lag should be reduced somewhat.

This mod should be compatible with any mods that do not affect defines.lua's NDefines.Diplomacy, but unfortunately it's NOT Ironman compatible.

any way to stop all the randomly generated characters from spawning at all instead of having to prune them? annoying as fuck not a year goes by and i have over 90 useless courtiers, sounds like this mod helps with that.

Only if the dynasty has nobody with land, so it might be pretty rare.

Also this mod doesn't work on Player courts! It is AI only as Paradox wrote it Vanilla that way. :(

Wish we could change that!

This mod tweaks an existing Paradox mechanic that automatically removes useless courtiers every month. The description explains the tweaks.

Activate it by checking the mod in the lobby. The rest is automatic.

Make sure these people don't have living family, or honorary titles, or living friends/rivals. Also make sure you are not using mods that also modify NDefines.Diplomacy (the defines.lua file).

how does this mod work? Can you tell us in detail? And how to activate it, otherwise in the game itself, I still have 40 year old people sitting in the yard (sorry for my English)

This is hardcoded. The game always tries to create new courtiers, the most we can do is to speed up the culling.

Is there any way you could stop random new lowborn courtiers from spawning inside a rulers court when the ruler has too few courtiers? So if I eg. kill everyone in my court and am the only one remaining that the game doesn't just create new people

It shouls be timeless, since it only modifies part of defines.lua. Are you using *any* other mods? What is your checksum?
