This guide assumes you can already:
1) Freely control your camera while running. You need to know where the killer is.
2) Watch for the red stain. You want to know the direction the killer is facing.
3) Navigate the map. You want to have a good understanding of the possible spawns of each map.

Stuff you do NOT need to know for this guide:
1) Breaking line of sight. You do not want to make the killer lose sight of you.
2) Hiding spots. You do not want to make the killer lose sight of you.
3) Communication. You do not need to rely on your teammates.

Pallet looping. Be in open view of the killer to taunt him.
Infinites. Be in open view of the killer to taunt him. Be aware of entity blockades.

What happens once you run out of pallets and the entity blocked all of your infinites?
Attempt 360s. Upon failure, you will unfortunately get downed. Because you didn't know how to break line of sight and then hide. Sorry.

This guide is not to be taken as a 100% serious guide

So you climbed from rank 20 to rank 1 survivor thanks to this guide. But are you tired of rank 1 try-hard killers that knows how to hide their stain and avoid your 360s? Or pro nurses that make this guide obsolete? Want to go back to messing with lower ranked killers? Learn how to de-rank quickly!

We all know that you can de-rank by disconnecting and lose 3 pips. But that method is way too slow if you're already rank 1 and want to derank to, say, rank 15. We have a much faster way, which is explained below!

You can instantly de-rank back to rank 15-20 by disabling Steam Cloud Sync (temporarily) and then moving your save profile to your desktop. Launch the game, and you'll get an instant rank reset as if the season ended immediately (you will also see that you have lost your progress, but this is only temporary). Then, close the game and put your safe profile from your desktop back to the folder. Re-enable Steam Cloud Sync, and then launch the game again. You'll keep your new rank but will have all your progress restored!
