Sanada Yukimura (1567–1615) was a legendary samurai and tactician during Japan's Sengoku period. He is best known for his valor during the Siege of Osaka (1614-1615), where he defended the Toyotomi clan against the powerful Tokugawa shogunate. Despite being heavily outnumbered, Yukimura's strategic brilliance delayed Tokugawa forces, earning him the title "A Hero Who Appeared Once in a Hundred Years."

His earlier accomplishments include fighting alongside his father, Sanada Masayuki, in the Battle of Sekigahara (1600), where they resisted Tokugawa forces, although they eventually lost. Yukimura's loyalty, military expertise, and fierce fighting spirit cemented his legacy as one of Japan's greatest warriors.
