8 man, try mounting the demo via steam/steamapps/common/garry's mod/gmod/cfg/mount.cfg. pretty self explanatory from there, but just in case, copy paste one of the examples (without the // shit) and then replace the "tf" or "counterstrike" with any game's shortened name that you own (i'd recommend portal2, because stanley parable has so many portal 2 files), and then replace the directory shit with the the directory of the demo folder (the folder inside the main folder that has the shortened name)
