Equip bullet resistance weapons
you heard that right most hackers as always will mostly go sniper, so you might want to equip some bullet resistance weapons in order to take less damage from headshots, the following weapons will give you bullet resistance

#1 VACcinator (Medic)

okay so not only will this medigun give you 10% bullet resistance but the teammate that you're healing will also get bullet resistance, the good thing about this medigun is that you can switch to fire or explosion resistance!, and once you activate your ubercharge you can get even more resistance to bullets or fire and you can activate all 3 resistances at the same time!

#2 Darwin danger shield (Sniper)

(THIS WEAPON GOT NERFED AND NO LONGER RESISTS BULLETS ONLY FIRE)
this shield is perfect for fighting against scouts and snipers, not only do you get 15% bullet resistance but you also get 25% more health! the bad thing of this weapon is that you get 20% explosion damage vulnerability, so if the guy hacking is a soldier or demo don't equip this weapon

#3 Fists of steel (Heavy)

(THIS WEAPON GOT NERFED AND NOW MEDIC GIVE YOU LESS HEAL WITH THIS EQUIPPED)
this weapon is perfect against hackers you get -40 LESS damage from ALL ranged sources (bullets, arrows, rockets and grenades) if you have a vac medic on your side you will be UNSTOPPABLE!,
(unless the whole enemy team is hacking) however such great buff comes with a downside
you get 100% more damage from melee weapons meaning that only 1 or 2 punches can kill you easily and you holster the weapon 100% slower too meaning that you won't switch fast enough to your minigun and survive the melee ordeal
Deadringer

there are some bad aimbots that don't work 100% of the time but sometimes a deadringer spy can backstab the hacker easily or cloak with any other watch to avoid detection of the aimbot this won't work 100% of the time but it's worth to try
Teamwork

this game is called team fortress for a reason

so if you follow the steps mentioned earlier with all of your team you can easily kill the hacker since he can't shot all of you at the same time, so work together with your team in order to bring an end to the hacker
Stay in spawn or leave the game

"why?" you might ask, because if all those steps don't work for any reason then stay in spawn with all of your team and conga or do a party or say tips or jokes in team chat or voice chat, eventually the hacker will get bored waiting for you guys to come out and he will leave (also in casual just winning the game but not getting any kills will get you little to no points to your ranking at the end) or also just leave the game with all of your team and join another game (don't worry even if you leave the game you will still get points)
///To be continued]>
Well this is the end of my guide guys i might update this guide later maybe when the pyro update is released 🅱 feel free to comment down below for any more tips or strategies that you guys have and maybe i can add them to the guide

Stay cool
How to identify a hacker
The best way to identify a hacker is by using the cloak and dagger or any spy watch and cloak also
1 don't call for medic (while cloaked)
2 don't use voice chat (while cloaked)
3 don't touch any enemy team players (while cloaked)

and if the sniper or soldier or either scout know exactly where you are without any of these 3 things giving it away, then they obviously are hacking

also watch max box tf2 series "spot the hacker"

The problem with the matchmaking update
before matchmaking came into tf2 we had the ability to kick players from the enemy team, but then matchmaking came and the tf2 dev team decided to remove the ability to kick players from the enemy team, so we only can kick players from our team BUT, the problem with this is that let's say red team has a hacker or two and we nicely ask red to kick their hackers and they refuse to kick them, that's where this problem comes into play, if red team won't kick their hackers then there is no way to kick them since blu team cannot kick players from the enemy team, so there are 2 ways to fix this problem

1 Bring back the ability to kick enemy players

or

2 update the vac detection system (another ban wave)

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and other aimbots are constantly updated to avoid vac detection but i don't know if there might be some way to stop aimbots from evading the vac system

Reporting them isn't gonna do anything (IMO)

first of all, no im not saying f2p are hackers, right before making this guide i saw a entire team of hackers on red, and you know what the sad part is, they were max level on casual and one of them had an unusual and i couldn't take a screenshot of it because i don't know why my tf2 is not taking screenshots when i want to but yeah, the power of the vac system everyone.

ok back on track with this.

ahem.

so you can also report the hackers and everything to steam but another problem with this is that they can easily create an alt account and hack in their alt account so even if they get their account banned they can easily hack once again with another name, also ip ban could be useless too since people can easily change their ip address.

also hackers can be reported by pressing the f7 key in game to take a screenshot of the hacker
Types of hacks
this should go in the beginning but whatever

AIMBOT

we all probably already know what this is, for those that don't know what this hack does it that it aims automatically at a player and shoots for you some aimbots shoot for you and some don't,some aimbots are also capable of shooting where you might land after double jumping as scout by using prediction this is why projectiles from aimbotting soldiers and demos almost never miss.

SILENT AIM

this hack is similar to aimbot, what this hack does is that when you spectate the player hacking you won't see the aimbot in action, for example when you spectate a hacker in first person mode you would usually see him shaking a lot and snapping into players however silent aim makes it look like he is not shaking and snapping into players at all like if he was playing normally and making the player look less suspicious.

TRIGGERBOT

no it doesn't trigger people, what this hack does is that it doesn't aim at players automatically but when someone is in your crosshair it will fire automatically for you, basically you aim and you let the bot do the firing for you, this also makes the player less suspicious.

WALLHACKS

what this hack basically does is that it lets you see players and obstacles like stickies through walls
allowing players to know where there might be a sentry nest or sticky trap and when to shoot or not and where to shoot.

ESP

ESP stands for Extra Sensory Perception what this hack does and as its name suggest it gives the player a "6th sense" what i mean with this is that gives you a spy camera which allows you to know when a spy is going to backstab you basically like a rear view mirror in a car and sometimes it also gives you a radar which allows you to know the exact position of everyone including what class they are.

SPEED HACK

what this hack does its that it causes the player to create more move command packets per second, which makes the server think the client is lagging behind so it "speeds" the player up to compensate for it this only affects movement speed and not reloading speed and shooting speed
basically a heavy can move at sonic speed.

SPINBOT

jokes aside for those that get it, what this hack does its that when spectating the hacker the camera will spin and move a lot so it can make you nauseated or sick by spectating him, yeah it's those guys that are looking up and spinning.

TAPPING HACKS

"These hacks alter network traffic to create latency. Sophisticated programs allow packets from the server to the client but delay or lose packets from the client to the server, allowing the hacker to experience fairly low latency gameplay while the server reports that the player is extremely laggy. These hacks are almost identical to actual network issues that clients can experience."

taken from the tf2 wiki since i don't understand how this hack works and i have never seen it.

REMOVALS

what this hack does its that it removes effects from the screen like jarate, bleeding and when on fire and or remove weapon spread because normally when shooting as heavy there is weapon spread and some bullets hit the target but without weapon spread basically everysingle bullet would hit you killing extremely fast.

CRITICAL HACKS

this hack is unique to team fortress 2 what it does its that basically tells you when you are going to shoot a crit and some critical hacks allow you to modify that value and force the game to give you a crit chance 100% of the time however not many people use this hack because it's very obvious
they're hacking.

CVAR MANIPULATION

what this hack does is that it changes console commands that are usually locked and can't be changed like sv_cheats and godmode however this hack is extremely rare also on the ps3 and xbox 360 version of the game players can modify keybinds and enable console commands like noclip and godmode however that is a banning offense on the console version so hackers aren't safe there too.

MULTIBOX

what this hack does is that it creates multiple bots of you that will recreate your every action, for example if you build a sentry all the bots will build a sentry, if you move right the bots move right, if you jump the bots jump, also you can disable this so that the bots can act on their own, and hackers can get pocket medics by using this, people use this hack alongside aimbots however this hack is also extremely rare.

BOTHACK

So most of us remember the cat bots and renabots madness few months ago well this hack is similar to multibox except the "mastermind" isn't in the server what i mean it's that basically these "catbots" and "renabots" aren't real people they're just bot accounts that spam and use aimbot, these bots were made to join random servers and spam, basically you're playing another game and watching tv while you let your bots do all the destruction for you in tf2.
He is wearing a hat, he must be a pro, WRONG

as i explained before i saw a guy that had 1 unusual and some cosmetics and was using aimbot, Just because they wear a hat or own some cosmetics and have a high rank on casual doesn't mean that they are not hacking, in one of max box videos (spot the hacker) one guy that was on the tf2 tournaments was found out to be using silent aimbot, and when that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ban wave happened, "pro" tf2 players were also found out to be using aimbot,
most people always assume that the f2p is the only guy to hack however, people that own hats and unusuals can also use aimbot and then most people will assume that he is skilled,
that's another problem, people are biased towards f2p's for example

(player A) *Killed by a f2p* OMG that f2p is hacking kick him!. *f2p gets kicked*
*later gets killed by a sniper wearing hats and owning some unusuals, and that is dominating the entire server easily without getting shot at once* Man that guy must be a pro!

im not saying everyone is like this, im just saying that some people sometimes fall for this, and that's why these guys sometimes go by without raising suspicion.

moral of the story, just because someone has a high level profile and owns hats on tf2 and has a lot of hours doesn't mean that he doesn't hack.

I’ve experienced the capture hacks before. Nobody else seems to notice, but when buddy caps the point the instant he steps on it, I see it.

Muddy, you know that even though they're in Uber, it still won't matter afterwards... like, as soon as the uber is off, you're fucked. Uber lasts for like (at most) 40-50 seconds.

You forgot to mention that the Vaccinator's ubercharge gives full crit resist, making headshots useless for the hacker.

You sir forgot about "capture hacks" for example: hacker playing as spy and goes on the point, BOOM he captured for 0.002 sec.

whenever i see a hacker i just report them and leave the game. why give these idiots the pleasure of killing you over and over again when you can leave? :angrycrank:

Well, you can learn now. (:
I normally don't say anything about a few mistakes I can notice, but with the prevalence of what I mentioned, I felt I should say something. I'm still learning, too.
