[NO DLC] [OUTDATED] Gunslinger Dodge/Crit
By DatMageDoe
A fun, stylish, and most importantly, functional build for playing on high difficulties.

REQUIRES INFAMY 3 OR GREATER, TAKING MASTERMIND AND GHOST

As of Update 172, this build is no longer usable as-is because of the removal of Specialized Killing and rework to Trigger Happy.

Introduction
Hello, and thanks for clicking on this guide! I'll be here to guide you through on this build, how it works, and some general tips and tricks!

This build has been used by me for the past couple weeks or so, and it's proven itself to be quite effective at Deathwish difficulty! It's usable at One Down as-is, but if doing so, I recommend bringing Doctor Bags instead of First Aid Kits.

This build can be played either rather greedily or benevolently, this mostly depends upon how you use the First Aid Kits.
Weapon Choice

Primary: Akimbo Crosskill Pistols
Modded with:
Monolith Suppressor
Concealment Boost
Bling Grip
12rng. Mag
Long Vented Slide
(Skin: Pistonheads)

Alterations:
If you own the Gage Spec Ops Pack (or Ultimate Edition), you can change the Monolith Suppressor for a Standard Issue and get a Magazine with Ameritude! Doing so adds 12 rounds to the magazine and 4 more stability.
If you don't have a Concealment boost, you can switch the Monolith Suppressor to a Standard Issue, or remove the 12rnd. Mag.

Your primary weapon and main source of damage dealing. If both shots hit, it will one shot headshot Lights and it has a 51% chance to one shot headshot Heavies (if either of the bullets crit, it's a one shot kill) on Mayhem and Deathwish, and it's always a one shot on difficulties below that. These pistols can output a surprisingly high amount of damage, oftentimes bursting down Dozers quite quickly.

Secondary: 5/7 AP Pistol
Modded with:
TiN Treated Barrel
Champion's Suppressor
Boost of choice
Micro Laser
Extended Magazine

Alterations:
The Standard Issue Suppressor is a good alternate if you don't have/don't want to use the Champion's.
If you're running into ammo conservation issues, feel free to pick a more efficient secondary pistol like a White Streak or Deagle.
A Micro Laser is not "required" per se, but it does help with hipfiring.

Strong against shields, poking at ranges beyond your Primary's effective range, and when your primary is low/out, the 5/7 is both a great secondary and a great utility choice, offering the AP potential of a sniper in a pistol (and secondary) package. Collateral potential is a nice bonus.
Equipment
Melee: I use the Ice Pick because of its high damage and Concalment, but other potential options are the Electric Brass Knuckles and Nova's Shank for non-DLC, and the Buzzer, Kunai, or any of the assorted Nova's Shank reskins for DLC users.

Throwable: Up to you, pretty much. I use Molotovs because 3 bursts of area denial are really damn good, but I've also had success with normal grenades and Incendiary.

Deployable: First Aid Kits. The little nuggets of full healing and down aversion are well worth it.

Armor: Two Piece Suit. That gives us the highest possible Dodge chance.
Skills and Perk Deck
MASTERMIND:
Basic Combat Medic: To open up the tree.
Aced Painkillers: Between faster deploy times on our First Aid Kits or giving allies an 80% DR for 5 seconds after being revived by you, I find the damage resistance to be much more useful. It is interchangable, however, if you prefer to be greedy.
Aced Uppers: To give us plenty of little nuggets of HP to nibble on throughout the mission, or avert a few downs.
Aced Inspire: I think this one speaks for itself.

ENFORCER:
Basic Resilience: To open up the tree. I would take Aced, but this build is already pretty tight on skill points, and we need Bullseye basic.
Basic Transporter: Anything which reduces the tedium of bag carrying is a win in my books.
Basic Bullseye: A must-have in pretty much any build ever. This allows you to effectively armorgate and increase your survivability greatly.

TECHNICIAN:
We take nothing there.

GHOST:
Aced Duck and Cover: 10% extra Dodge while sprinting? Necessary in any build revolving around Dodge.
Aced Parkour: Basic is a MUST HAVE IN ANY BUILD EVER. Aced is a great bonus, especially being able to reload while sprinting.
Aced Inner Pockets: The extra Concealment will help get our DR low enough for the full effects of Sneaky Heartard. As for why we're Acing it even though we are using Suit, this is the most skill efficient way to get up to Sneaky Heartard aced wth Duck and Cover Aced.
Basic Sneaky Heartard: 10% extra dodge passively? Great! Our build will get the full effects of Heartard with Basic.

Basic Second Wind: Extra movement speed is a nice-to-have for Dodge, especially since your armor breaks, a LOT.
Aced Optical Illusions: The concealment penalty reduction for suppressors is great on its own, especially for a build like this which relies on low DR.
Basic Low Blow: 30% chance to deal bonus damage? Sign me up! As with Heartard, we get the full effects with just Basic
Aced Specialized Killing: 30% extra damage is always great, because our weapons are suppressed.

FUGITIVE:
Basic Equilibrium: To open the tree. That said, it's a great perk for any build which brings triple pistols, as that's 66% faster switching to/from.
Aced Gun Nut: The 50% higher firecap is necessary to make the Crosskills good for spamming down enemies. The bigger magazine is a nice bonus.
Aced Akimbo: This is an auto include for any build which uses Akimbo. 16 Stability, but more importantly, 50% more ammo for our Crosskills reduces the significance of wasting a few shots.
Aced Desperado: This will offset our weapons' relatively low accuracy, to an extent. However, the real shining part here is the 50% faster reload speed, as that makes Akimbo reloads somewhat bearable.
Aced Trigger Happy: Up to 80% more damage? Really hard to go wrong with that! It also makes it easier to kill Heavies and Specials.

Aced Nine Lives: One extra down is quite helpful.
Aced Swan Song: Need I say anything?

PERK DECK:
Rogue. This gives us the highest Dodge chance, and basically enables this build as a whole.

ALTERATIONS
You can replace Nine Lives Aced for Running From Death Basic, and remove Transporter Basic to get Resilience Aced.
If you are using this build for One Down, it's recommended to replace Aced Uppers with Aced Combat Doctor, as the nuggets of HP lose their value when they only save you from one extra shot.
Changing First Aid Kits out for Ammo Bags and getting Fully Loaded Basic (or skipping it altogether) can allow you to get Basic Messiah through Basic Feign Death, and a spare 1-5 points leftover.
You can change out the 2 piece Suit for a LBV, and get some added tankiness should Dodge fail. If you want to do chat, change out your perk deck to Crook so you don't nuke your dodge chances.
How does this build work?
Outside of the obvious, this build plays quite similarly to most Dodge builds, which means run fast, dodge bullets, and go for headshots when you can. The biggest difference, really, is that with three pistols, you have the issue of range; neither of your weapons can really challenge long distance snipers, so focus on closing distance, hitting enemies to get the effects of Desparado, or avoidng sniper sightlines which your weapons can't compete.

That out of the way, let's get a few tips and tricks out there:
  • Placing a First Aid kit near drills, doors you have to lockpick, or other interactables will allow you to do them while under fire, thanks to Uppers Aced.
  • If both shots of the Crosskills hit a target, Desparado and Trigger Happy will proc twice off of them. This can make building them up pretty quick.
  • The 5/7 can collateral kill. If you see a couple cops in a line of each other, you can position yourself to hit both of them with a single shot, and potentially kill 2 cops with one shot.
  • When you are going to hold out in one area for an extended period of time, pepper some First Aid Kits around, especially at high traffic zones for your team. That can save you several downs.
  • In Swan Song? Try placing a First Aid Kit at your feet and/or retreating to cover to make it easier for players without Inspire to revive you. If they don't need it or you are Inspired up, you can quickly grab the kit to heal yourself back up after being revived.
  • Remember you can shout at others to speed them up for a short time thanks to Inspire. It's on a pretty short cooldown, so do it whenever you're near an ally and it's off cooldown.
  • Don't be greedy with your First Aid kits. They can be 14 full heals for you, or they can be 14 averted downs for you and your team. Don't hog them all to yourself, especially on a team which could use the heals.
Final Words
Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed the build and that it gives you good use!

Ye but if you're solo and you use your first aid kits you're bassicaly f*cked

@Mar!0 It's common to bring First Aid Kits to One Down, as they can prevent downs and allow you to, say, repair the drill mid assault without needing to go down over it. And besides, you can switch it out for Doctor Bags if you want to bring those instead.

Yeah I really see this being DW only since your bringing those tiny first aid kits

Fair enough, I'll revise it so DLC melees are separate from the non-DLC.

@Author The Buzzer melee weapon is a DLC melee weapon. You may wanna remove it in the guilde or put (DLC) behind it.
