Beskrivning
Situated at 1964 Independence Avenue, Washington DC, the Martin Luther King Memorial was constructed in 2011, and inspired by the quote "Out of a Mountain of Despair, a stone of hope", taken from Martin Luther King's famous "I have a dream" speech. It was built to honour the iconic Civil Rights activist, and the address signifies the year in which he led thousands in a Civl Rights demonstation during what came to be called the 'March on Washington', and the year in which the Civil Rights act was passed. Ingame, the MLK Memorial provides a +10% boost to global Great Person generation, +5 Happiness with Freedom, and requires Computers.

Requires the Gods & Kings expansion pack, and credit to Co-author Sukritact for the icon

This wonder should demoralize the majority population and cause riots to occur

This mod is just a depressing reminder to me that despite the fact that many people against civil rights were assasinated, we as a country made them less important and used the assasination of MLK to push our agenda.

What chance of having The Suez Canal as a world wonder on here. I would love to see it and add to my wonder collection. :) I actually crossed The Suez Canal heading to Cairo,Egypt.

Never would I expect to see such backlash for such a great person. Unbelievable. I think I saw someone refer to him as a Communist. Ummm.... He was quite conservative and was a registered Republican.
