If you can't switch gears when the engine is running, most likely the problem is connected with clutch - clutch pedal must be 100% pressed, as our current algorithm allows shifting gears only if the clutch is 100% disengaged. This article will help to fix it.

Fixing the clutch issue (can't switch gears)

If you can't switch gears when the engine is running, most likely the problem is connected with clutch - clutch pedal must be 100% pressed, as our current algorithm allows shifting gears only if the clutch is 100% disengaged.

Possible solution of the issue (on the example of G27 wheel):

1. Open the Logitech Gaming Software.

2. Click on the pedals as shown on the screenshot on the Logitech main screen.

3. Right click on the area where it says clutch.

4. Click on axis properties.

5. Slide the Sensitivity all the way up to 100% then click OK.

6. Run the game - the issue should be fixed now.

P.S.: Also such effect can appear on old wheels because of pedal wear. Also re-assigning the clutch pedal can help sometimes – try pressing with different pressure and different level of pedal travel (for example – do not press the clutch pedal to the very end - leave some reserve) during re-assigning the pedal – it may help.
