Weapon Damage Chart
Damage values are based on the Intoxigator boss fight and divided by 5. Time-To-Kill values are based on theoretical PvP situations in the final version's DM mode. This guide is mostly meant as helpful feedback for the developers of DUSK for weapon balancing in the final version. It is the most comprehensive source of DUSK's weapon data until the editors are eventually released.

  • TTK and Reload times are listed in milliseconds. (1217 ms = 1.217 seconds)
  • DPS figures account for 100% accuracy at point-blank range.
  • Flip is performed by pressing the flip button at point-blank range.
  • Flip does not do any damage with the Scythes, Super Shotgun, Crossbow, and Sword.
  • Sword (Alt.) is performed by holding down Fire and releasing when over 100 health.
  • Flip reload value based on semi-automatic key presses.
  • Shotgun fires 5 pellets that do 6 damage each, totalling 30 if all of them connect.
  • Super Shotgun fires 20 pellets that do 6 damage each, totalling 120 if all of them connect.
  • Hunting Rifle and Crossbow can pierce enemies, doing Dmg to each enemy they hit.
  • Sword reload values based on semi-automatic mouse clicks.

Soap
  • Explosive objects have a chance of causing fire damage (see below).
  • Fire damage is caused when an enemy or object gets set on fire. The fire will never go out, meaning that bosses can be killed by setting them on fire with a torch one single time if the player waits long enough.
  • The soap is an instant-kill weapon that decimates anything it touches in one-hit. Fear the soap.
Conclusion
In its current state, this guide does not offer that much helpful information. However, it does offer some nice speculation towards the final product:
  • Even with their superior accuracy, the Pistol x2 just can't compete with any other weapon in the game, except maybe the Shotgun x2 at very long ranges.
  • The Hunting Rifle has much superior firepower to even the Shotgun x2, although thankfully it's balanced out with its low ammo pool.
  • Assault Rifle and Crossbow have higher DPS values than either of the Shotgun combinations, making them superior for sustained fire against larger enemies.
  • The Riveter is outright game-breaking, causing even larger damage than the Sword's alternate fire and faster, too.
  • Large objects strangely cause more damage than explosive objects, which in turn do more damage than the actual Mortar grenades do.
I still need to add the increased ROFs from the rune power-up in a future update. Thanks to Yakumo and his Ultimate Quake Live Guide where I got the DPS formula and chart format from.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when the SDK launches and I can finally make an accurate chart.

I made an entire video about creating a religion based upon the soap. Cleanliness is godliness, kids.
