the Scarlet Devil Mansion

Since some people seem to really want to play this map I started 8 years ago (from 2009 to 2011) on garry's mod, I took the time to upload it here, it all its unoptimized and buggy glory.

Since it's a TF2 map, you require TF2 to see most textures. Also since there is no round start, the gates will never open. You can either move them out of the way with your physgun, or move this file ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/pdns4g1udna8y51/sdm.cfg?dl=0 ) to your "garrysmod\cfg" folder, and type "exec sdm" in the config (or you can manually enter the command lines inside the file in the console) This way the doors will open at the intended angle.

Should Dropbox ever die, or if you'd rather make the cfg file yourself, the command lines are:
ent_fire frontdoorleft open
ent_fire frontdoorright open
ent_fire backdoorleft open
ent_fire backdoorright open

Since it's a dm_ map, you'll find it under the "Half-Life 2: Deathmatch" category when starting a new game. Personally I just use the console to load maps.

As for why it took so long: I have a mountain of remorse over leaving this map in this state (granted it's been in a worse state in previous versions). I never found the time or motivation to properly fix it, because the hard truth was that I should have restarted from scratch. It's unoptimized, it's a patchwork of mapping done over years, as I was learning how to use Hammer, but it's still so dear to me. This is also why I can't let other people mess with it, or port it. My last goal for this map was to upload a fixed version with every feature I had wanted to add for all this time to the garry's mod workshop, but you guys have made it clear that you're fine with the map in its current state, so my last wish now is that you enjoy it. Late is better than never.

Shout-out to Okuu the Engineer, whose server I used extensively back in the days to test the map, and the 東方二 ~ Touhou (東方) steam group, where I haven't been in years. I still have great memories of those days.
