Intro!!!
Hey I am the Awesome Basteard.

This game is usually has updates that provide heroes with nerfs, buffs, and other changes occur as well. Some of this may change given on how the game evolves. The rest of the intro is general information on the game.

When you level up your account, you get stronger in the game. Current Max level is 100.

Cade/cades = means barricades, or great barricades, or wall an area to move the orcs.

goalies = can be good or bad depending on the map. but is a player that waits at the rift in case anything gets by. this can be bad if your hero is needed on the frontline.

killbox = general objective is to get all of your traps to active and KILL an enemy mob at all once or with debuff.

Combos = Each trap effect will count as 1 combo point and stack with each different attack, including your primary attack and gear items. Its best to get different traps then your co-op partners to get more combos. More combos, means more higher scores. (Combos can get in depth, and takes math that i dont have time for at this moment to go over what attack works and stacks and doesnt stack with each diff hero. )

Sab /Sabo = short for Sabotage . As for new players, sabotage mode is a RANKED game mode, and usually pits you against anyone available. (meaning level 60+++++, due to activity). I would suggest to learn the maps in survival first, then play sab around rift lord level.

Early Level guide. How to grind & spend skulls.
New? I bet you see this game, and want to unlock everything. But it will take a lot of skulls.

The best way to grind is to get a hero pool first. I know you will be tempted to upgrade your traps first, but this is not a good idea for the early levels. When you do upgrade traps, you need parts, and you do not get enough parts early levels for upgrading traps to be worth it as much as spending your skulls on heros.

It is best to get cheaper heros first over the 12k ones. This way you can reply early levels to get the completion chest for that map, and grind faster then replying with the same hero.

For leveling I would buy Smolder or Cyngus first, then Hogarth.
For 9k Midnight or Dobbin or stinkeye then ivy and bloodspike.
12K whoever you want.

It took me around 2 months to get all heros in the hero bundle. If you have the money, you can get the bundle to speed this up.

It takes 7650 skulls to fully upgrade a trap to t7. Below are the numbers for each tier, plus how many pieces of the trap you need to get the full upgrade.

common 3675p 100 225 400 600 850 1500
uncommon 1100p 50 100 150 200 250 350
rare 325p 15 30 45 60 75 100
epic 22p 1 2 3 4 5 7
Heroes
Its hard to give a tier list since there are many modes like sab, endless, solo high scores, team ups. etc. Like Hogarth has an upgrade that increases his max health for each kill, so this is better skill on endless maps, and not as needed for short apprentice maps.

Below is a list of current heros. I give a minor description of them. For upgrades I will use T/G/B or lowercase letters for situational choices. This is usually how I upgrade them. Usually its better to choose the upgrade that gives more damage or less mana cost.

Bionka - melee - slow moving high damage - better in groups over solo. Upgrades = G/B/B/B

Blackpaw - melee - fast - takes skill to manage pounce, self heal. Upgrades = B/T/B/b or t\

Bloodspike - melee with a projectile move - mana tank - Upgrades = t or g/t or g/B/t or g

Brass - range turret tinker- I do not care for this hero, since she is based on scrap instead of mana. Scrap is like pickup rage. You have to get scrap before you can cast a spell, but Brass is range. This means you need to go to melee range to get the scrap or wait til the wave is over to get mana to cast spells. I find this is terrible for dps compared to other heros. Upgrades = t or g/T/t or b/t or g.

Cyngus - range rift mage - Upgrades B or t/T or b/ B/T

Deadeye - range double crossbolt user - strong - Upgrades = T or g/T/T/t or g

Dobbin - range - tunnel is great for big maps - Upgrades t or B/G/B/G

Gabriella - range trap resetter - Upgrades = B/G/B/g or B

Horgath - melee health tank - Upgrades = G?/G/T/T

Ivy - range healer- for her upgrades it depends since if you solo, you're not going to take the team buffs as much, but as solo you will. Solo T/t or g/t or g/t or g/ ... Healer T/B/B/B

Max - range - Upgrades = T/B/B/T

Midnight - melee - reminds me of the rogue from WoW but with mana- Upgrades = T/t or B/T/B

Oziel - range - reminds me of the warlock from Wow - Upgrades = G/T/G/g or B

Smolder - range - reminds me of the fire mage from Wow - Upgrades = G or b/G/B/T

Stinkeye - range - reminds me of the shaman from Wow - Upgrades = T or g/T/B/t or g

Temper - melee rage user - reminds me of the beserker warrior from Wow. I find his voice for this hero is terribull - Upgrades = G or b/B/T/B

Tundra - Frost mage tank - Upgrades = T or g/t or g/t or b/B

Yi Lin - melee energy user. Energy is the best for casting spells, since it auto restores, and you do not need kill an enemy to get it. Upgrades = G/T/g or b/B

Zoey - range aoe mage. Reminds me of the Wendy's logo going through a phase. Upgrades = g or B/G/B/B

Solo tier list for me
Max - less cost for traps means more traps for a complete kill box on wave 1.
Yin Li - ring of storms + fire wall bracers + Imperial reach = aoe damage.
