This guide will go into detail on all 30 Dishonored: Death of the Outsider achievements. Down the right-hand side is the name of the achievements - apart from story ones which are in one section - are the names of the achievements. This will help you navigate to the achievement you want.

If intreseted I also have achievement guides for Dishonored and it's DLC.

Uncaged:
"Free the assassin Daud."
This achievement is gained after freeing Daud in the first mission.

Two Turns:
"Take both bank vault keys."
Unlocked during the second mission. Awarded after picking up the second vault key.

Twin-bladed Knife:
"Obtain an ancient weapon."
This achievement will be awarded upon obtaining the Twin-Bladed Knife during mission three.

Gnosis:
"Recover the stolen archive."
Obtained during the fourth mission. After getting the silvergraph.

Dead Eye:
"Touch the Eye of the Dead God."
During the fifth mission, reach the Eye of the Dead God and the achievement will pop.

Final Release:
"Return the Outsider to the mortal world."
Awarded after the non-lethal takedown of the Outsider, by following the non-lethal markers then talking to Daud at the final bit.

Decide:
"Kill the Outsider."
Find and kill the Outsider (Lethal ending).

Art Aficionado:
"Collect all Eleuterio Cienfuegos paintings."

For this achievement you have to collect all 8 collectible paintings in a single playthrough.

Mission 3 - 4 Paintings

Mercenary Work:
"Complete all contracts."

For this achievement you have to complete all the contracts in a single playthrough. There are a total of 13 contracts.

Contracts:

Mission 1:

Mission 4:

• Alvaro and the Abbey
  
• Pilfer and Prophecies
  
• A Risky Wager

The first two contracts can be found on Billie's desk aboard the Dreadful Wale and the rest of the contracts can be found in the Black Market shops during their respective missions.

Shadow:
"Finish the game without being detected."

Simply, playthrough the entire game without being seen by enemies. Can be tracked by the mission summary at the end of each mission.

Can be gotten on OG+ gamemode. Which powers you find most useful for no detection will depend on your play-style and familiarity.

Good Old Times:
"Finish the Original Game+."

After completing the game once, Original Game+ will be unlocked on the main menu when you start a new game. Playthrough the game in Original Game+ and the achievement will unlock after you finish the story again.

Mightier than the Sword:
"Shoot a guard in the head with a fountain pen."

You will need to purchase the makeshift bolt upgrade from a black market, then find a pen on a desk and shoot at a guard in the head. After purchasing the upgrade (500 coins), pens will be labelled as Volatic bolts the same as normal ammountion for the weapon.

Hooked:
"Send Someone flying 40 meters using Hook Mines."

The second chapter is the best place for this achievement. Hook mines can be bought from the black market shop. The best spot is down by the canal on the map where there is a guy fishing by the skiff. Set the hook mine to lethal and place it upon the stone part of the bridge that crosses the canal by the drop. If done correct the mine will send him flying over the edge and the achievement will pop.

Note: Standing on the railing then placing the mine works best.

Golden Locks:
"Steal the audiograph from the gallery without disabling the safeguard floor."

During the second mission, when you arrive at Shan Yun's house go to the second floor and there is a room with an electric floor. Do not disable the floors power. From the door (door by the stairs) shoot the glass frame of the display case closest and use Displace to Displace into the actual display case and pick up the audiograph.

Nightingale:
"Use Semblance to mimic Shan Yun and sing into the microphone."

In the second mission you will have to pay a visit to Shan Yun's house to get one of the vault keys. His safe is locked by a microphone. Use Semblance on Shan Yun and proceed to sing into the microphone and the achievement will pop.

This will not actually unlock the safe.

Public Shaming:
"Drop Ivan Jacobi through the trapdoor."

In the second mission, Ivan Jacobi can be found on stage in the courtyard. Go there and to the left of the courtyard ("Colibron Plaza") will be a stair case going down. Proceed down (remaining undetected) and there may be one or two guards so quietly dispose of them. Proceed into the room to the right and pull the lever when Ivan is on the trap door. Marking him with Foresight will be useful.

Side Effects:
"Make 3 people vomit using a single bottle of Plagued Spirit."

I would recommend getting this achievement in the second mission. Firstly, tatoo your self at the Red Camellia Beauty Parlor then heading to the Spector Club. Get in and head up to the second floor. You will find three people hooked up to a machine in one of the nearby rooms. On a table near them is a bottle of Plagued Spirit. Pick it up and throw at the middle of the three and they will stand up, and all start vomiting. The achievement will pop.

Big-time Player:
"Win the auction at Colibron Plaza."

During the third mission, follow the optional objectives to do with the pharmacey. Eventually, you will get the objective to attend the auction. The amount of coins needed may change depending on when you place your first bid. Make sure you have plenty when attempting this achievement. You will need to remain undetected and use Semblance to blend in at the auction. Just find a seat after blending in and proceed.

Obsessive Safe-cracker:
"Open every safe inside the main vault."

In the main vault (your objective in mission 3) there are 6 vaults. For the achieve you will need to unlock 5 vaults. The story one doesn't count towards the achievement.

The safe codes are as follows: 011, 235, 813, 455, 891 from left to right. Do this before opening the knife safe.

The Perfect Crime:
"Empty the vault without tampering with any security systems, leaving everyone unharmed and asleep."

During mission 3 you have to rob the bank. For this you have to rob the bank without disabling any security devices (e.g. clockwork soldiers, arc pylons, walls of light, electric floors.) and leaving all guards and civilians asleep from the use of the sleeping chemical which can be bought from the black market shop for 800 coins or from the pharmacey side objective. Removing Clockwork soldiers heads and rewiring any form of device will not allow the achievement to be obtained.

When you have the Vault key I would recommend following the "Party Crasher" achievement information. This is so you can access the bank without having to deal with the guards and security devices. The arc pylon in the top floor above the vault can actually be avoided by using Displace carefully.

The Perfect Crime can also be obtained in OG+.

Alternatively you can do the method suggested by Mr British. Please refer to below the notes

Note: Waking up the guard to get him to let you in to the Security Office and Vault Controls is fine. Despite the achievement stating that everyone must stay asleep, you can wake him up using the microphone next to the vault control door and say the code to make him let you in. If you don't have the code you can go find it by following the objective markers after talking to him.

You can avoid security using Foresight to place markers and Displace to them through windows etc.

Make sure to stealth around sleeping enemies as not to wake them and you cannot choke them out as that will not allow you to get the achievement. Don't walk into them as they will wake up.

This method requires a hag pearl. You can find one here. Mantance room top floor. ^

Go down to where the elevator control room is and you can shoot the hag pearl through the window at the button for the archives. Proceed down to the archives. Make sure to quick save before because you can easily miss.




< To avoid the electric floor, go here. Proceed to loot the safe and escape without waking anyone and the achievement should pop.

Party Crasher:
"Send the vault crashing through the floor."

For this you need the Vault key (story) from the office. You will then need to head up to the top floor where you can head out the top of the lift and through a hole into the mechanical area. In this area is a drawer with the lever in you need for breaking the vaults supports. Then proceed down the open door in the floor of the main room and down on to the top of the vault and break the supports using the key and lever. The vault will drop when you pull the lever and the achievement will pop.

The Face of the Abbey:
"Attend the meeting as Brother Cardoza."

Cardoza can be found on the top floor of the Conservatory in the curators office upper area. Wait for the sister to leave and then use Semblance on Cardoza (he doesn't wear a mask if that helps identify him) and walk to the group of sisters out by the balcony. Go through the meeting dialogue and the achievement will pop.

To get up there I would recommend making it to the 2nd floor then Displacing onto one of the owls then onto the ledge. Theres and open window. Cardoza is just inside.

Voices:
"Break 4 Oraculum censers and listen to the prophecies."

In the Conservatory on the second floor is a room with the bodies of some orcaular sisters where the Oraculum was in Dishonored 2. Knock the 4 censers in this room with your sword and the achievement will pop. The censers are the black bottles putting off white vapour.

There is two on-top the sisters boxes and two at the back of the room.

Harder than Stone:
"Destroy an Envisioned cultist."

Springrazors or charged volatic shots are good at stunning the Envisioned cultists. You will then need to finish it off with your sword while it is stunned.

Final Nudge:
"Push an enemy to his demise using Void Strike."

After entering the void (final mission) there is a cultist on an edge which can be used to easily get the achievement. This cultist is hard to miss.

I actually got this on mission 4. There is an overseer on the way into the Conservatory standing by a short wall. I used Displace to reach the old watch tower base then in front of him and quickly used Void Strike to send him over the wall.

Clever Planning:
"Use Displace on a marker placed with Foresight and eliminate a target."

This achievement is actually really simple. After getting your powers, use Foresight and place a marker by an enemy or a civilian, then use Displace - upon leaving Foresight - and assassinate the target.

Salute!:
"Have a guard salute you."

Just use Semblance on a guard and walk around other guards until one Salutes you.

Occupational Hazard:
"Make an enemy explode into pieces using Displace."

Place a marker with Displace where an enemy or civilian is standing, then Displace to that location and the achievement will pop after they explode. Can be obtained as early as mission 2.

Agent of Mercy:
"Finish a mission without killing anyone."

Finish any mission in the game without killing anyone. First mission is probably the easiest as it quite short and not too many enemies.

Rat Whisperer
"Listen to what swarms of rats have to say 5 times."

This achievement can be obtained during the first mission. At the start of the mission after exiting the Dreadful Wale, it will soon pop up with a tutorial message about your rat talisman. Using your rat talisman, listen to the near by rats 5 times and the achievement will pop.
