Downhill skiing

Deskripsi
A downhill skiing experience with full player physics. The locomotion attemts to approximate real skiing. You control the ski direction by moving the motion controllers and stake to move on flat ground.

A remake of my old Destinations map, featuring many improvements including reworked player physics, a jetpack and a slalom course.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Notes: Requires motion controllers. May cause motion sickness.


Current issues:
Shadows are broken in some places.
Held tools lag when moving at high speeds.
Slalom scoreboard doesn't show player names.

I've never had any sort of motion sickness/fear of heights, had no problem whatsoever acclimating to VR. Then I tried this. 10/10, would vomit on my floor again.

Subscribe to the item, then in SteamVR Home bring up the Home menu (not the dashboard) and click on the the big Environments button. The menu is usually bound to one of the A/B/X/Y/hamburger menu buttons depending on controller.

The further down you crouch, the faster you go. You can also use the jetpack or other tools to boost you.
