Getting Mod Loader
Mania Mod Loader allows you to use mods without replacing any of the game's original files
  • You can get it from GameBanana here [gamebanana.com]
Installing Mod Loader
Once you downloaded Mod Loader .zip file, go to your Sonic Mania installation directory. The default path is usually
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic Mania








Then extract all files from archive to this folder and thats it!
Installing Mods
Place any mods you want to use in the "mods" folder








  • Make sure to unzip them first or else they wont work!








After that, launch the ManiaModManager .exe file



Click "Install loader" button to enable it


















  • d3d9.dll file should appear in your Sonic Mania folder after that
Check the boxes of the mods you want to use and then press "Save" or "Save & Play"





And we're done! Sonic Mania is now modded!

You can get mods from GameBanana [gamebanana.com] or find them on YouTube/Google

Bonus
In Mania Mod Loader, you can use codes which have some very useful options. For example, you can disable Super Music or allow Sonic to use all of his abilities at once!
