First download xpadder
========================================
Open this and let's start!
1. Complete the first configuration
2.

3. Configure it for you gamepad

4. Now press at that buttons and configure it for all buttons like in mania

BONUS:
Turbo mode for Spindash:

You can configure turbo mode(For greater effect also)
Just press in this pictured keyboard - Advanced

Открой программу и начнем
1. Заверши первую настройку в программе
2.

3. Настрой это под твой геймпад

4. Нажми на эти мини кнопки и настрой на этой построенной клавиатуре
кнопки управления так как тебе угодно

BONUS:
Turbo mode для спиндеша в игре:

Ты можешь также настроить его(для большего эффекта)
Просто нажми Advanced на построенной клавиатуре

@OP dont link to a pirated version of Xpadder.
to everyoen else. if you have a 8bitdo controller make sure your in XINPUT mode and not one of the other modes. the same goes for other controllers with multiple modes. the game work fine with both my SN30 pro plus, and SN30 pro 2 (if you cant run on a pro 2, update your firmware 8bitdo released a firmware to fix that)

есть некоторые геймпады китайские которые не поддерживают xinput. ну или были раньше. у меня была эта проблема потому мне понадобилось это

когда ты запускаешь игру в стиме с подключённым геймпадом, автоматически подрубается встроенный xinput, так что руководство немного бесполезно

You don't need any third-party programs. Just enable Steam Input for Sonic Mania, it does pretty much the same thing.

I also had to use Xpadder to get my SF30 controller to work. The game did not recognize it, while most games do. Steam big picture has a spac attack while trying to configure the SF30 and wont stop moving down/right.
