Running BuildGDX (BloodGDX) through Steam via Launch Options and Steam Overlay support.

This command line helps you run BloodGDX (Outdated) and the New BuildGDX with JRE (v.1.02 and up) right from Steam with Steam Overlay Support.

BuildGDX command line:
This will work for all BuildGDX (with JRE version) games by M210.

  1. Right Click
    Blood: One Unit Whole Blood
    in your Steam Library

  2. Click
    Properties

  3. Click
    SET LAUNCH OPTIONS

  4. In the command line Type:
    "(INSERT INSTALL DIRECTORY OF THE GAME HERE!!!)\BuildGDX.exe" %Command%

    For Example:
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\One Unit Whole Blood\BuildGDX.exe" %Command%

  5. Enjoy.




BloodGDX command line (Old and Outdated method, no steam overlay):
For those who still want to use "BloodGDX.jar" and only for Blood.

  1. Right Click
    Blood: One Unit Whole Blood
    in your Steam Library

  2. Click
    Properties

  3. Click
    SET LAUNCH OPTIONS

  4. In the command line Type:
    "(INSERT INSTALL DIRECTORY OF THE GAME HERE!!!)\BloodGDX.jar" %Command%

    For Example:
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\One Unit Whole Blood\BloodGDX.jar" %Command%

  5. Enjoy.

I can't use Steam Overley even using the first method, I'm not using the .jar file... plz help x'c

You need BuildGdx with JRE, that one has the BuildGDX.exe.

I'm not sure exactly what to do on steamedt but I tried the .jar method and it said they couldn't find it even though I clearly have it in my blood folder

I have tested it, it still works for me.
Try SteamEdit as a last resort.

I tried the first option and it said that the filename or volume syntax was incorrect, which I'm not sure of since I doubled checked and it seemed right to me, and to further my statement I copy/pasted most of it so what am I doing wrong? Is it an outdated version?
