MrRandom's Random Starts

Beskrivning
Version 1.7:

Now works with Version 1.5x. :D

I've created a random start for those who don't want a vanilla experience with their new game. There are also an extra 99 .zip files which you can use, if you don't want to use the "Default Random Set".

If you want to use another "Random Start" you need to go to the Workshop Files "(Steam Location)/steamapps/workshop/content/415200/1120363797/Databases" where there are some .zip files which contain different versions of the text files. Select one of them and extract them into the Databases folder (Overwriting the current files) to get a different start.

Current Changes:
- Drivers (Now with more countries!)
- Engineers
- Mechanics
- Team Principals
- Chairmen
- Increased starting database size
- Teams
- Track Order/Layouts
- Rules
- Part Suppliers

I recommend you use with with my Difficulty mod!

Let me know if you find any issues.

It doesn't work for me anymore as well, but there's an easy way around it.
@Luuni just extract the package to */steamapps/common/Motorsport Manager/MM_Data/Modding/Databases (thats where you put files if you want to make your own mod) and then activate mod testing in game. As long as you dont want to create another mod this will work.

i dit, but all drivers are still the same

So, you just download it through the Steam workshop and select the mod when you start a new career.

Hi, how to properly install this? i've tried extracting at the same folder the random zips are, since its called databases, but it did nothing
then i've tried extracting it at Motorsport Manager\MM_Data\Modding\Databases wich is the only other databases folder i've found, but it also did nothing

That is rather odd, they should be there. Let me look into it.

Hey, I cannot find the zip files in the mentioned folder.
Did the workshop file change?
MrRandom287  [skapare] 25 jun, 2021 @ 19:49
That is correct. Unfortunately with how the game is, you can not use the steam workshop to change those drivers.

I believe that it is the "Race Payment Offset" in the teams.txt file. You would put a value as a percentage in there. So if you want 50% of the payment, you put 0.5
