How to kill the chicken in Riverwood

I know you've probably tried to kill the chicken in Riverwood, so here's a guide that won't get you caught in the meantime so you can enjoy your lovely Grilled Chicken Breast, or just the death of the chicken...
Note: This can also be done with NPC's. It will just take a bit more time. And the NPC has to be nonessential which you can find out by opening the console, selecting the target, using the code isessential and the number defines if s/he/they is/are or not. Anywho, let's get to it.

1. You need a target

I chose the chicken because who hasn't been killed by the people of Riverwood because of a single, tiny chicken?
Note: This also works with NPC's. It just takes a lot more time, they have to be non essential and not have regeneration.

2. You need an object

I decided to go with the cart next to the old lady's house in Riverwood because it was the closest to catch my eye. It's a bit hard to do with the cart because it has a weird hitbox, but it's large at the same time.
Note: This can be done with Kettle and many other items which have a great/large hitbox. Also has to be movable. (I don't think you can move a house?)

3. You need some velocity and precision

So the idea is to move against the object of choice to give it velocity, and with the velocity of the object, hit the target.
Pretty Simple.
"Picture because the blacksmiths apron is kinda funny-looking..."

4. Run into the object -> object gets velocity -> hits the target and causes Damage

Ok, at first try it might not work, but trust me, with enough speed it's very likely to kill the chicken with a tiny collision.
And after enough tries, the target should die.

I remember watching a youtuber called VenturianTale play through skyrim back when I was about 6, and he thought that he chicken was sven because when he hovered over the chicken, sven was standing right next to it so it showed sven's interact prompt. Now whenever I play skyrim, I call any chicken I see Sven.

during my first playthrough i killed the chicken and after murdering the same 2 npcs several times (apparently they automatically revive themselves) i had to restart my game.

I can honestly say, I've never tried to kill the chicken therefore never have been killed by the people of riverwood
