idk, this was close to 3 years ago. IIRC this research was endless. so you could keep stacking work speed bonuses.
but i realized that to late, it already was in slideshow mode.

"global workspeed" Buffs WILL break your game if done to the extreme how much was it? 2 times? 3 Times?

I do go 2 notches up on the maps default size. but its fine untill things start messing with the work speed i found. iirc it had a research for global workspeed, traits, some bionic upgrades on most specialized workers and a buff from food/drinking/druggs.

Combine that with the overflow of people/tasks it will just go in slideshow mode.

must be because you extended the map too far. I am pretty sure I have more mods, and a couple bigger ones with an older pc and running a couple different colonies, Though the number of colonists probably affects it too

No the game started tpo stutter when the last quarter was filled in. then i did the moat and could not take it anymore.
